B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the NO SMOKING switch 190RH is in the OFF position
(3) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.
(4) Put the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) in position under the related exit sign.

(3) On Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the EMER button and its light are off.
(4) Put the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) below the related emergency exit sign.

A. Removal of the Emergency Exit Sign
(2) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(3) Remove the emergency exit sign (1) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (5).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove the emergency exit sign (1).
Subtask 33-51-16-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The procedure is the same for all emergency exit signs.
(1) Remove the emergency exit sign-lens (2). (2) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(3) Remove the emergency exit sign (1) sufficiently to get access to the electrical connectors (5).
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5). (5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Remove the emergency exit sign (1).
A. Removal of the Emergency Exit Sign
(2) Remove the screws (2), (7) and the washers (3), (8).
(4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the housings (4), (9).
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all emergency exit signs.
(1) Remove the lenses (1), (6) from the housings (4), (9). (2) Remove the screws (2), (7) and the washers (3), (8).
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connectors (5), (10). (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the housings (4), (9).
