Removal of the Cabin Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit-Markers
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all wall-mounted emergency-exit-markers.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On overhead panel 25VU, make sure that EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On overhead panel 25VU, make sure that NO SMOKING switch 190RH is in the OFF position.
(3) On Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.

A. Removal of the Cabin Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit-Markers
(1) Removal of the Emergency-Exit-Marker Assembly
(a) Carefully remove the lens (4) from the light housing (2).
(b) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the wall panel.
(c) Support the light housing (2) and disconnect the electrical connectors (5).
(d) Remove the light housing (2).
(2) Removal of the Bulb(s) of the Emergency-Exit-Marker
(a) Carefully remove the lens (4) from the light housing (2).
(b) Remove the bulb(s) (3).
Subtask 33-51-13-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Removal of the Emergency-Exit-Marker Assembly
(a) Carefully remove the lens (4) from the light housing (2).
(b) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the wall panel.
(c) Support the light housing (2) and disconnect the electrical connectors (5).
(d) Remove the light housing (2).
(2) Removal of the Bulb(s) of the Emergency-Exit-Marker
(a) Carefully remove the lens (4) from the light housing (2).
(b) Remove the bulb(s) (3).
A. Removal of the Cabin Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit Markers
(1) Remove the emergency-exit-marker assembly:
(a) Remove the screw (4) from the lens (5).
(b) Carefully remove the lens (5) from the light housing (6).
(c) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2) from the light housing (6).
(d) Remove the light housing (6) from the wall panel.
(f) Remove the light housing (6).
(2) Remove the bulb(s) of the emergency-exit-marker:
(a) Remove the screw (4) from the lens (5).
(b) Carefully remove the lens (5) from the light housing (6).
(c) Remove the bulb(s) (1).
Subtask 33-51-13-020-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the emergency-exit-marker assembly:
(a) Remove the screw (4) from the lens (5).
(b) Carefully remove the lens (5) from the light housing (6).
(c) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2) from the light housing (6).
(d) Remove the light housing (6) from the wall panel.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(e) Support the light housing (6) and disconnect the electrical connections (7) with the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15.570-22. (f) Remove the light housing (6).
(2) Remove the bulb(s) of the emergency-exit-marker:
(a) Remove the screw (4) from the lens (5).
(b) Carefully remove the lens (5) from the light housing (6).
(c) Remove the bulb(s) (1).
A. Removal of the Cabin Wall-Mounted Emergency-Exit-Markers
(1) Remove the emergency-exit-marker assembly:
(a) Carefully remove the lens (3) from the light housing (2).
(b) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the wall panel.
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Remove the light housing (2).
(1) Remove the emergency-exit-marker assembly:
(a) Carefully remove the lens (3) from the light housing (2).
(b) Release the two attachment clips (1) and remove the light housing (2) from the wall panel.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c) Support the light housing (2) and disconnect the electrical connectors (4). (d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Remove the light housing (2).
