A. Installation of the Individual Air Outlet
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If the individual air outlets (8) (PN 2966-xx series) are removed:
(b) Put the air outlet plenum (7) in position on the individual air outlets (8) and install the clamps (10).
(c) Tighten the screws of the clamps (10).
(d) Put the air outlet panel (9) in position and attach its left side to the support rail (1).
(e) Connect the flexible hose (6) to the air outlet plenum (7).
(f) Lift the air outlet panel (9) and attach its right side to the support rail (2).
(g) If the air outlet panel (9) is adjacent to an emergency oxygen container:
1 Make sure that there is a minimum clearance of 2.0 +0.0 mm or -0.5 mm (0.0787 +0.0000 in. or -0.0197 in.) between the emergency oxygen-container door and the air outlet panel (9).
(5) If the air outlet panel (3) (PN Z345H series) is removed:
(a) Put the air outlet panel (3) in position and attach its left side to the support rail (1).
(b) Connect the flexible hose (6) to the air outlet panel (3).
(c) Lift the air outlet panel (3) and attach its right side to the support rail (2).
(d) If the air outlet panel (3) is adjacent to an emergency oxygen container:
1 Make sure that there is a minimum clearance of 2.0 +0.0 mm or -0.5 mm (0.0787 +0.0000 in. or -0.0197 in.) between the emergency oxygen-container door and the air outlet panel (3).
(6) Use the 98A25207503000 PULLEY ASSEMBLY - SEALING CORD (4) to install the section hoses (5) on the support rails (1) and (2).
(a) Move the pulley assembly (4) forward and backwards along the section hoses (5) to correctly install them. Do not move the pulley assembly (4) in only one direction.
(b) Make sure that the section hoses (5) are not expanded.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If the individual air outlets (8) (PN 2966-xx series) are removed:
NOTE: Each air outlet panel (9) has one or two or three individual air outlets (8).
(a) Put the individual air outlets (8) and the plastic ring nuts (11) in position on the air outlet panel (9).
