(4) Remove the light control unit (Ref. AMM D/O 33-24-15-00).
(5) Remove the lavatory smoke detector (Ref. AMM D/O 26-17-15-00).
(6) Remove the auxiliary/mirror lavatory light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-14-000-006).
(7) Remove the Return to Seat sign (LED) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-62-000-006).
(8) Remove the lavatory loudspeaker (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-51-000-001).

(b) Remove the toilet shrouds (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-802).
(c) Remove the toilet assemblies (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(d) Remove the wash basin door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-18-000-802).

(c) If necessary, remove the related waste-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-53-000-001).
(d) If necessary, remove the related potable-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-53-000-001).
(4) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) In the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Remove the applicable partition (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
(b) Remove the applicable sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-003).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the lavatory doors (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-19-000-804).
(2) Remove the emergency oxygen containers (Ref. AMM TASK 35-21-41-000-001).
(3) In the lavatory:
(a) Remove the toilet shrouds and the seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-000-802).
(b) Remove the toilet assemblies (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-41-000-001).
(c) If necessary, remove the related waste-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-71-53-000-001).
(d) If necessary, remove the related potable-water pipe heaters and insulations (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-53-000-001).
(4) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) In the aft cargo compartment:
(a) Remove the applicable partition (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

A. Marking of the Ventilation Connections, the Potable Water Connections and the Waste-Water Drain Connections
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
Subtask 25-43-49-020-090-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
B. Removal of the Electrical Connections
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Disconnect electrical connectors 7191VC-A (10) and 7193VC-A (9) as follows:
(a) Cut and discard the tie-wraps (11).
(b) Release the electrical harnesses (12).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10) and (9).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Safety the electrical connectors (10) and (9) to the aircraft structure.
(3) Disconnect the bonding straps (3) and (8) as follows:
(b) Safety the bonding straps (3) to the lavatory structure.
(c) Remove the bolts (5), the lockwashers (6) and the washers (7), then disconnect the bonding straps (8).
(d) Safety the bonding straps (8) to the lavatory structure.
Subtask 25-43-49-020-059-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Disconnect electrical connectors 7191VC-A (10) and 7193VC-A (9) as follows:
(a) Cut and discard the tie-wraps (11).
(b) Release the electrical harnesses (12).
(c) Disconnect the electrical connectors (10) and (9).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Safety the electrical connectors (10) and (9) to the aircraft structure.
(3) Disconnect the bonding straps (3) and (8) as follows:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(a) Remove the nuts (4), the bolts (1) and the washers (2), then disconnect the bonding straps (3).(b) Safety the bonding straps (3) to the lavatory structure.
(c) Remove the bolts (5), the lockwashers (6) and the washers (7), then disconnect the bonding straps (8).
(d) Safety the bonding straps (8) to the lavatory structure.
C. Removal of the Electrical Connections
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Disconnect electrical connectors 7191VC-A (9) and 7193VC-A (10).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

(4) Cut and discard the tie wrap (11) and release the electrical harnesses (12).
(5) Disconnect the bonding straps (3) and (8) as follows:

MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(a) Remove the nuts (4), the bolts (1) and the washers (2) and disconnect the bonding straps (3). (b) Remove the bolts (5), the lockwashers (6) and the washers (7) and disconnect the bonding straps (8).
D. Removal of the Air Connections
(1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Push the button (2) and open the panel assembly (1).
(3) Remove the screws (3), the washers (4) and the covers (5) and (6).
(4) Disconnect the air-extraction hose (7) as follows:
(a) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the air-extraction hose (7) from the tube (11).
(b) Remove the clamp (9).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Disconnect the ventilation hose (8) as follows:
(a) Loosen the clamp (10) and disconnect the ventilation hose (8) from the tube (12).
(b) Remove the clamp (10).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-43-49-020-060-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(2) Push the button (2) and open the panel assembly (1).
(3) Remove the screws (3), the washers (4) and the covers (5) and (6).
(4) Disconnect the air-extraction hose (7) as follows:
(a) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the air-extraction hose (7) from the tube (11).
(b) Remove the clamp (9).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Disconnect the ventilation hose (8) as follows:
(a) Loosen the clamp (10) and disconnect the ventilation hose (8) from the tube (12).
(b) Remove the clamp (10).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
E. Removal of the Air Connections
(1) Push the button (2) and open the panel assembly (1).
(2) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(3) Remove the access covers (5).
(4) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (6) from the ventilation tube (10).
(5) Remove the clamps (8).
(6) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the ventilation hose (7) from the ventilation tube (11).
(7) Remove the clamps (9).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-43-49-020-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Push the button (2) and open the panel assembly (1).
(2) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(3) Remove the access covers (5).
(4) Loosen the clamp (8) and disconnect the ventilation hose (6) from the ventilation tube (10).
(5) Remove the clamps (8).
(6) Loosen the clamp (9) and disconnect the ventilation hose (7) from the ventilation tube (11).
(7) Remove the clamps (9).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
F. Removal of the Water Connections
(1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(a) Loosen the nuts (4) and disconnect the potable water hoses (6) from the end fittings of the tubes (5).
(b) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connections as follows:
(b) Remove the clamps (2).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Remove the vacuum waste connections as follows:
(b) Remove the clamps (10) and move the sleeves (8) in the direction of the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(c) Disconnect the vacuum waste hoses (14) from the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(d) Remove and discard the O-rings (7).
(e) Remove the sleeves (8).
(f) Remove the screws (12) and the washers (13) from the access covers (11).
(g) Lift the access covers (11).
(h) Remove the screws (12), the washers (13) and the vacuum waste hoses (14).
(i) Remove and discard the O-rings (7).
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 25-43-49-020-061-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME.

MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, CLEAN YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER. THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION. (CONTAMINATION FROM TOILET WASTE IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH).
(3) Disconnect the potable water connections as follows: (a) Loosen the nuts (4) and disconnect the potable water hoses (6) from the end fittings of the tubes (5).
(b) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the waste-water drain connections as follows:
WARNING:
ALWAYS USE RUBBER GLOVES WHEN YOU DO WORK:
(a) Loosen the clamps (2) and disconnect the waste-water drain hoses (1) from the waste-water drain tubes (3). - ON THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM, OR
- ON PARTS THAT HAVE CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE WATER SYSTEM.
(b) Remove the clamps (2).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Remove the vacuum waste connections as follows:
WARNING:
ALWAYS USE RUBBER GLOVES WHEN YOU DO WORK:
- ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM, OR
- ON PARTS THAT HAVE CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE SYSTEM.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU REMOVE A COMPONENT OF THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM, ALWAYS DISINFECT THE PART BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG, THEN SEAL THE BAG.
DO NOT PUT DOCUMENTS INTO THE PLASTIC BAG. SEAL THE BAG FIRST,THEN ATTACH THE DOCUMENTS TO IT.
THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION OR ILLNESS. CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
(a) Use the BAG - PLASTIC to keep the vacuum-waste line components.(b) Remove the clamps (10) and move the sleeves (8) in the direction of the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(c) Disconnect the vacuum waste hoses (14) from the vacuum waste tubes (9).
(d) Remove and discard the O-rings (7).
(e) Remove the sleeves (8).
(f) Remove the screws (12) and the washers (13) from the access covers (11).
(g) Lift the access covers (11).
(h) Remove the screws (12), the washers (13) and the vacuum waste hoses (14).
(i) Remove and discard the O-rings (7).
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
G. Removal of the Water Connections
(2) Disconnect the potable water connections as follows:
(a) Remove the Velcro (8) and the insulation (7) from the potable water connections.
(b) Loosen the nuts (4) and disconnect the potable water hoses (6) from the fittings (5).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.

(g) Remove and discard the O-rings (16).
(h) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.

CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARK ON THE WASTE WATER AND AIR OUTLET HOSES AND ON THEIR RELATED CONNECTIONS.
IF YOU CONNECT ONE OF THESE HOSES TO THE CONNECTION OF THE OTHER HOSE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Loosen the clamps (2) and disconnect the drain tubes (1) from the pipes (3). (b) Remove the clamps (2).
(c) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Disconnect the vacuum drain connections as follows:
(a) Remove the clamps (11) and move the sleeves (10) from the vacuum waste lines (12).
(b) Disconnect the vacuum waste tubes (18) from the vacuum waste lines (12).
(c) Remove and discard the O-rings (9).
(d) Remove the sleeves (10).
(e) Remove the screws (17) and the washers (13) from the seals (14).
(f) Lift the seals (14) and remove the screws (15) and the vacuum waste tubes (18).
(g) Remove and discard the O-rings (16).
(h) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
H. Removal of the Upper Attachments
(1) Use the PIN - RELEASE and unlock the mechanism (2).
(2) Open the access panel (1).
(3) Hold the tie-rods (3) and (8) in position, then remove the quick-release pins (6), (7) and (18).
(4) Remove the tie-rods (3) and (8).
(5) Disconnect the bonding strap (17) as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (11), screw (16), lockwashers (12), and washers (13), then disconnect the bonding strap (17).
(b) Safety the bonding strap (17) to the lavatory structure.
(6) Remove the quick-release pins (14) and the bracket (15).

(b) Safety the bonding strap (17) to the lavatory structure.
(6) Remove the quick-release pins (14) and the bracket (15).

(3) Open the access panel (1).
(4) Remove the quick-release pins (3) and disconnect the tie-rods (6) from the aircraft structure.
(5) Disconnect the bonding strap (15) as follows:
(a) Remove the screw (13) and the washers (14) and (16) and disconnect the bonding strap (15).
(b) Safety the bonding strap (15) to the bracket (11).
(6) Remove the quick-release pins (12) and disconnect the tie-rod (9) from the aircraft structure.
(7) Remove the quick-release pins (10), the tie-rod (9) and the bracket (11).

(6) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
(7) If the washers (3) are installed, remove them.
(8) Remove the inner eccentric bushings (4) and the outer eccentric bushings (5).
(10) Remove the bushings (7).
(11) Remove and discard the packings (8).
(12) Loosen the clamp (21) and disconnect the hose (25) from the T-connection (20).
(13) Remove the clamp (21).
(14) Remove the screw (23), washer (22), clamp (24) and spacer (26).
(15) Loosen the clamps (15) and disconnect the ventilation hose (16) from the tube (14).
(16) Remove the clamps (15).
(17) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.

CAUTION:
WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE COMPONENT.
(9) Carefully lift and move the lavatory assembly to the aft utility area.(10) Remove the bushings (7).
(11) Remove and discard the packings (8).
(12) Loosen the clamp (21) and disconnect the hose (25) from the T-connection (20).
(13) Remove the clamp (21).
(14) Remove the screw (23), washer (22), clamp (24) and spacer (26).
(15) Loosen the clamps (15) and disconnect the ventilation hose (16) from the tube (14).
(16) Remove the clamps (15).
(17) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
L. Disassembly of the Lavatory

(2) If necessary, put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN HOLD THE COMPONENT BEFORE YOU REMOVE/INSTALL IT. THE COMPONENT IS HEAVY. IF IT FALLS, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) For the disassembly of the lavatory, (2) If necessary, put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
M. Removal of the Floor Pan Assembly
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the screws (2) from the door sill (7).
(3) Remove the door sill (7) and the spacers (5) and (6).
(4) Remove the floor pans (3) and (4) as follows:
(a) When you remove the floor pans (3) and (4), make sure that you move them away from the inner lavatory wall to avoid damage.
(b) Carefully release the floor pans (3) and (4) from the retaining clips (1) and remove them.
