Operational Check of PTU In-Flight Inhibition Logic

TASK 29-23-00-710-006-A
Operational Check of PTU In-Flight Inhibition Logic

CAUTION: ALWAYS OBEY THE PRECAUTIONS THAT FOLLOW TO KEEP ELECTRICAL WIRING IN A SATISFACTORY CONDITION (ELECTRICALLY AND MECHANICALLY SERVICEABLE). WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE WORK, REPAIRS OR MODIFICATIONS, ALWAYS KEEP ELECTRICAL WIRING, COMPONENTS AND THE WORK AREA AS CLEAN AS POSSIBLE. TO DO THIS:
  • PUT PROTECTION, SUCH AS PLASTIC SHEETING, CLOTHS, ETC. AS NECESSARY ON WIRING AND COMPONENTS.
  • REGULARLY REMOVE ALL SHAVINGS, UNWANTED MATERIAL AND OTHER CONTAMINATION
THESE PRECAUTIONS WILL DECREASE THE RISK OF CONTAMINATION AND DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRING INSTALLATION. IF THERE IS CONTAMINATION, REFER TO ESPM 20-55-00.

20.After a minimum of 20 seconds.
On the ECAM lower DU:
  • Check that the PTU starts and pressurizes the Green hydraulic system.
21.On the HP manifold of the Green hydraulic system:
  • Use a shunt to connect pins A and C of system pressure-switch electrical- connector 1151GN-A together.
On panel 40VU:
  • The fault legend of the PTU P/BSW comes ON.
22.After a minimum of 6 seconds.
