(2) Make sure that you obey the instructions related to the screws/captive nuts and the studs/receptacles (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(3) On quick-release access panel 197KB, do the steps that follow:
(a) Make sure that the section (1) is in the correct condition on the panel (4).
(b) If necessary, remove the section (1) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(c) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Install the new AIPC 53-35-13-15-070 PROFILE SECTION (1) on the panel (4).
(e) Cut the section (1) to the necessary length.
(f) Install the panel (4):
1 Put the panel (4) in position.
2 Make sure that:

(g) Install the cover strip on the inboard flap seal (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-400-007).
(4) On quick-release access panels 191KB and 192KB, install the pins (5) and let the panels hang on the cords (6).
(a) Make sure that the length of the studs (3) is correct.
(b) Make sure that the studs (3) are in good condition:
(5) Put the panel (4) in position.
(6) Tighten the studs (3).
(7) Torque the studs (3):

(8) For quick-release access panel 191BB:
(a) Put the panel (4) in position.
(b) Tighten the studs (3).

(e) TORQUE the five screws (7) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

(9) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

(a) Install the panel (1).
(b) Install the bracket (6).
(c) Install the bonding strap (5) on the bracket (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Install the nuts (3), the washers (2) and the screws (7).
(e) Tighten the screws (7).
(f) Connect the lanyard (4).
(g) Put the panel (1) in position.
(5) On quick-release access panels 191KB and 192KB, install the pins (5) and let the panels hang on the cords (6).
(a) Make sure that the length of the studs (3) is correct.
(b) Make sure that the studs (3) are in good condition:

(7) Tighten the studs (3).

(a) Connect the lanyard (3) to the quick-release access panel (1).
(b) Put the quick-release access panel (1) in position and tighten the studs (2).
(4) For quick-release access panels 197MB, 197NB and 197PB do the steps that follow:
(a) Install the new AIPC 53-35-13-16-130 SEAL (2), the new AIPC 53-35-13-16-350 SEAL (5) and the new AIPC 53-35-13-16-240 SEAL (7).
(b) Install the screws (10), the bonding straps (8), the washers (11) and the nuts (12).
(c) Tighten the nuts (12).
(d) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Connect the lanyards (9) to the quick-release access panels (1), (4) and (6).
(f) Put the quick-release access panels (1), (4) and (6) in position.
(g) Tighten the studs (3).

(5) On quick-release access panels 191KB and 192KB, install the pins (5) and let the quick-release access panels hang on the cords (6).
(a) Make sure that the length of the studs (3) is correct.
(b) Make sure that the studs (3) are in good condition:
(e) Put the quick-release access panel (4) in position.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) on the flap/slat control lever to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(3) Make sure that the MLG doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable access panel.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) on the flap/slat control lever to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
(3) Make sure that the MLG doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable access panel.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Examine all the studs, the receptacles, and, if installed, the screws and the captive nuts of the removed quick-release access panel(s).
(4) If not all the studs, the receptacles, and, if applicable, the screws and the captive nuts are in a satisfactory condition, replace them.
(5) If the replacement of all the missing studs and/or receptacles is not possible and if minimum one stud or receptacle is missing:
(a) Do an inspection of the removed quick-release access panel(s) and make sure that, for each edge, the permitted missing fasteners agree with the conditions from the inspection task (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-00-200-002).
(6) If the replacement of all the missing captive nuts is not possible and if minimum one captive nut is missing:
(a) Do an inspection of removed quick-release access panel 191BB and make sure that, for each edge, the permitted missing fasteners agree with the conditions from the inspection task (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-00-200-002).
(7) Do a check of the adhesive tape (2) and the sections (1) for damage. If necessary, replace the adhesive tape (2) and/or the sections (1).
(8) If you remove quick-release access panel 191EB/ 192EB, do a check of the sealant bead on the lower belly-fairing structure for the correct condition.
(9) If the sealant bead is not in the correct condition, do the steps that follow:
(a) Remove the used sealant bead from the lower side of the belly fairing structure with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(b) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) on the panel (4) in the area of the sealant bead.
(c) Install quick-release access panel 191EB/ 192EB.
(d) Apply a new bead of Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 53-35-13-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Examine all the studs, the receptacles, and, if installed, the screws and the captive nuts of the removed quick-release access panel(s).
(4) If not all the studs, the receptacles, and, if applicable, the screws and the captive nuts are in a satisfactory condition, replace them.

(b) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) on the panel (4) in the area of the sealant bead.
(c) Install quick-release access panel 191EB/ 192EB.
(d) Apply a new bead of Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Installation of the Erosion Strip of Quick-Release Access Panels 191BB, 191EB, 192EB and 192FB
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the contours of the erosion strip (2) and the access panel (1) are the same.
(4) Put the applicable access panel (1) in position.
(5) Put the erosion strip (2) on the access panel (1).
(6) Install the washers (3) and the studs (4).
(7) Install the washers (3) and the screws (5).
(8) TORQUE the studs (4) from the middle to the outer position of the access panel (1) to between 3.20 and 2.80 m.N (28.32 and 24.78 lbf.in )

(9) TORQUE the screws (5) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
(1) Prepare the bonding surface before you install the panel (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).(2) Make sure that you obey the instructions related to the screws/captive nuts and the studs/receptacles (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(3) For quick-release access panel 197BB:
(a) Make sure that the section (1) is in the correct condition on the panel (4).
(b) If necessary, remove the section (1) with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(c) Clean the area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(d) Install the new AIPC 53-35-13-15-070 PROFILE SECTION (1) on the panel (4).
(e) Cut the section (1) to the necessary length.
(4) On quick-release access panels 191KB and 192KB, install the pins (5) and let the panels hang on the cords (6).
(a) Make sure that the length of the studs (3) is correct.
(b) Make sure that the studs (3) are in good condition:
- No damage on the threads of the studs (3)
- No corrosion or contamination
- No other damage (cracks, scratches, marks, dents, and/or bumps).
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE THE FASTENERS TO ADJUST THE PANEL.
IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENERS OF THE PANEL.
(d) Make sure that the studs (3) and their related receptacles are correctly aligned.(5) For quick-release access panel 191BB:
(a) Put the panel (4) in position.
(b) Tighten the studs (3).
CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN THE SPECIFIED TORQUE VALUE. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT(S).
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TORQUE THE FASTENER. MAKE SURE THAT THE ROTATING SPEED IS NOT MORE THAN 275 RPM. THE RECOMMENDED ROTATING SPEED IS 150 RPM. HIGHER VALUES THAN THE MAXIMUM TORQUE AND ROTATING SPEED CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PANEL AND THE STRUCTURE.
(c) TORQUE the studs (3) to between 3.00 and 2.70 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. CAUTION:
BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE SCREWS ON THE PANEL, MAKE SURE THAT THE POSITION OF THE SCREWS IS CORRECT. AN INCORRECT POSITION OF THE SCREWS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT BELOW THE PANEL.
(d) Install the washers (8) and the screws (7). (e) TORQUE the five screws (7) to between 4.8 and 3.7 m.N (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
. (6) Put the panel (4) in position.
(7) Tighten the studs (3).
(8) Torque the studs (3):
CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN THE SPECIFIED TORQUE VALUE. IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT(S).
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TORQUE THE FASTENER. MAKE SURE THAT THE ROTATING SPEED IS NOT MORE THAN 275 RPM. THE RECOMMENDED ROTATING SPEED IS 150 RPM. HIGHER VALUES THAN THE MAXIMUM TORQUE AND ROTATING SPEED CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PANEL AND THE STRUCTURE.
(a) TORQUE the studs (3) to between 3.00 and 2.70 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. (9) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
NOTE: The measurement of the surface electrical resistance is not necessary if the panels are installed subsequently to their removal without modifications or repairs.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.

(3) On quick-release access panel 197KB, do the steps that follow:

2 Make sure that:
- One person applies the inboard flap seal.
- The other person installs the studs (3) that are behind the inboard flap seal.
4 Torque the studs (3):

. (g) Install the cover strip on the inboard flap seal (Ref. AMM TASK 27-54-61-400-007).
(4) On quick-release access panels 191KB and 192KB, install the pins (5) and let the panels hang on the cords (6).
(a) Make sure that the length of the studs (3) is correct.
(b) Make sure that the studs (3) are in good condition:
- No damage on the threads of the studs (3)
- No corrosion or contamination
- No other damage (cracks, scratches, marks, dents and/or bumps).
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE THE FASTENERS TO ADJUST THE PANEL.
IF YOU DO, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENERS OF THE PANEL.
(c) Make sure that the studs (3) and their related receptacles are correctly aligned. (5) Put the panel (4) in position.
(6) Tighten the studs (3).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION from the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
