3. Job Set-up
Subtask 29-00-00-860-082-A

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001) .
(3) On the ECAM control panel, push the HYD key. Make sure that the HYD page comes into view on the ECAM lower DU.

4. Procedure

A. Bleeding

NOTE: The subsequent bleeding procedures are only necessary after the replacement of hydraulic components, or opening of the hydraulic system(s).

(1) Do the applicable bleeding procedure for the related hydraulic system:
(a) For the Green hydraulic system:

C. Operational Tests
(1) Do the operational test of the applicable hydraulic system:

For the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-11-00-710-001),
For the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-00-710-002),
For the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-12-00-710-001),

(2) Do the operational test of the hydraulic fire shut-off valve of the applicable hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-710-001).
(3) Do the operational tests of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU):

(4) Do the operational test of the leak-measurement valve of the applicable hydraulic system:

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the ECAM control panel on the center pedestal: push the HYD pushbutton.	On the ECAM lower DU: the HYD page is shown.
2.On the overhead panel 50VU: lift the guard and set the applicable HYD/LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVE pushbutton switch (P/BSW) to OFF (the OFF light comes on).	In less than 15 s on the ECAM lower DU: the color of the system name and system arrow change to amber.
3.On the overhead panel 50VU: lift the guard and set the applicable HYD/LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVE/ P/BSW to on (the OFF light goes off).	On the ECAM lower DU: the color of the system name changes to white, the color of the system arrow changes to green. NOTE: When you set the P/BSW to on, the ECAM lower DU can change to the ELEC page. Also the single chime audio warning and MASTER CAUT light operate. You can ignore these indications. Cancel the MASTER CAUT light and set the HYD page on the ECAM lower DU to find the hydraulic indications.

E. Operational Tests of the Ram Air Turbine (RAT)
(1) Do the operational test of the manual deployment and the retraction of the RAT (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-710-007).
(2) Do the operational test of the automatic deployment of the RAT (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-710-006).
