4. Procedure
Subtask 29-00-00-870-064-A
A. Bleeding Procedure of the Blue Hydraulic System Upstream of the Blue E-Pump
CAUTION: USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
   (1) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) under the Blue E-pump.
   (2) Disconnect the case drain line (2) of the Blue E-pump from the housing (1) of the case drain filter (2084GM).
   (3) Install a PLUG - BLANKING (4) in the open port of the housing (1).
   (4) Connect the adapter hose (3) to the case drain line (2).
   (5) Put the end of the adapter hose (3) in the container.
   (6) Make sure that the fluid level in the Blue reservoir is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
   (7) Slowly pressurize the Blue hydraulic reservoir so that the air or the mixture of hydraulic fluid and air comes out from the adapter hose (3) and into the container (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (8) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic reservoir when the hydraulic fluid flows freely without air (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (9) Disconnect the adapter hose (3) from the case drain line (2).
   (10) Remove the blanking plug (4) from the housing (1).
   (11) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
   (12) Connect the case drain line (2) to the housing (1).
   (13) TORQUE the nut of the case drain line (2) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft ) T.
   (14) Keep the reservoir depressurization valve (2087GM) open and fill the reservoir to 7.0 l (1.8492 USgal).
   (15) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (
Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (16) Do the check for Air in the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-210-001).
     (a) If the check for air is not in the given limits, do the bleeding procedure again.
5. Close-up
Subtask 29-00-00-860-072-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Remove the containers.
   (2) Make sure that the level of the hydraulic fluid in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).
   (3) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (5) Close the access door 195BB.
Subtask 29-00-00-865-075-A
