A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that:
(a) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(c) On the HP and LP ground connectors the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
(3) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized.
(4) Make sure that all of the galley compartments are empty and all of the equipment is removed:
(a) Make sure that the ovens are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the coffee makers are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-15-000-001).
(c) Make sure that the galley trolleys are removed.
(5) Make sure that the curtain and the curtain rail are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the ceiling panels and the door frame linings in the area of the galley are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
(7) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
(8) If a cockpit door camera is installed, make sure that the hinge-mount fitting is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-000-001).
Subtask 25-31-41-865-110-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that:
(a) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- The APU BLEED, the ENG1/2 BLEED and the PACK 1/2 pushbutton switches are in the OFF position.
NOTE: For the APU BLEED the ON legend is off.
For the ENG1/2 BLEED the OFF legends are on.
For the PACK 1/2 the OFF legends are on.
(b) The warning notice is in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches . For the ENG1/2 BLEED the OFF legends are on.
For the PACK 1/2 the OFF legends are on.
(c) On the HP and LP ground connectors the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
(3) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
(a) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002). (4) Make sure that all of the galley compartments are empty and all of the equipment is removed:
(a) Make sure that the ovens are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
(b) Make sure that the coffee makers are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-15-000-001).
(c) Make sure that the galley trolleys are removed.
(5) Make sure that the curtain and the curtain rail are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).

(7) Make sure that the cockpit door is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
(8) If a cockpit door camera is installed, make sure that the hinge-mount fitting is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-16-11-000-001).

C. Preparation of the Replacement Component
Subtask 25-31-41-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: To move the galley through the aircraft door it is necessary to disconnect the galley splitline (Ref. AMM TASK 25-31-41-000-001).
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Prepare the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

Subtask 25-31-41-420-050-CL ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Connect the Galley Splitline
(2) Install the Floor Fittings
(a) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (15) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-400-801).
(b) Install the bushes (15).
(c) Install new packings (16).
(d) Put the floor fittings (17) in position.
(e) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) on the threads of the bolts (19).
(f) Install the washers (18) and the bolts (19).
(g) Put the shims (20) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
(b) Carefully put the galley modules (21) and (25) in position.
(c) Put the fitting (28) in position and install the screws (27).
(d) Put the fitting (29) in position and install the screws (30) and (31).
(e) Install the screws (24) and (26).
(f) Install the screws (20).
(g) Put the block (23) in psosition and install the screws (22).
(4) Seal the Splitline Joints
(b) Clean the splitline joints with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Apply new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) into all the splitline joints.
(5) Carefully lift the galley above the shims (20).
Subtask 25-31-41-420-062-CP ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you removed the galley from the cabin.
(1) Unless specified TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001). (2) Install the Floor Fittings
(a) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (15) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-400-801).
(b) Install the bushes (15).
(c) Install new packings (16).
(d) Put the floor fittings (17) in position.
(e) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) on the threads of the bolts (19).
(f) Install the washers (18) and the bolts (19).
(g) Put the shims (20) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Connect the Galley at the Splitline NOTE: The splitline screws and bolts are painted red.
(a) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(b) Carefully put the galley modules (21) and (25) in position.
(c) Put the fitting (28) in position and install the screws (27).
(d) Put the fitting (29) in position and install the screws (30) and (31).
(e) Install the screws (24) and (26).
(f) Install the screws (20).
(g) Put the block (23) in psosition and install the screws (22).
(4) Seal the Splitline Joints
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(a) Remove the old sealant of the splitline joints with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC. (b) Clean the splitline joints with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Apply new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) into all the splitline joints.
(5) Carefully lift the galley above the shims (20).
B. Installation of the Galley Unit
(1) Install the Galley Unit
(a) Unless specified TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(c) Put the galley unit in position.
(2) Install the Lower Attachments
(a) Install the bushings (11) and (10).
(b) Put the plates (9) in position.
(c) Install the washers (8), the bolts (7) and the nuts (14).
(d) Put the covers (12) in position and install the screws (13).
(e) Install the rub strips (3) and the screws (4).
(3) Install the Upper Attachments
(a) Put the tie rods (6) in position and install the quick-release pins (5).
(b) If necessary, remove and adjust the tie rods (6).
2 Loosen the locknut.
3 Adjust the tie rod end until the quick-release pins (5) can easily be installed.
4 Tighten the locknut.
5 Make sure that the tie rod end is in safety.
6 Safety the locknut with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(c) Put the pelmet (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(4) Connect the power supply
(b) Install the cover plate (43) with the screws (44).
(c) Put the clamps (49) and (50) in position and install the washer (48) and the bolt (47).
(d) Put the clamps (40) and (42) in position and install the nuts (41).
(e) Install the bonding strap (52) together with the bolt (54), the washer (53) and the nut (51) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) Connect the galley supply
(a) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(b) Connect the hose (65) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (63) and tighten the clamps (64).
(c) Connect the waste water pipe (66) and tighten the clamps (67).
(d) Connect the potable water pipe (69) and tighten the nut (68).
Subtask 25-31-41-420-050-DM ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the Galley Unit
(a) Unless specified TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(c) Put the galley unit in position.
(2) Install the Lower Attachments
(a) Install the bushings (11) and (10).
(b) Put the plates (9) in position.
(c) Install the washers (8), the bolts (7) and the nuts (14).
(d) Put the covers (12) in position and install the screws (13).
(e) Install the rub strips (3) and the screws (4).
(3) Install the Upper Attachments
(a) Put the tie rods (6) in position and install the quick-release pins (5).
(b) If necessary, remove and adjust the tie rods (6).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Remove and discard the lockwire. 2 Loosen the locknut.
3 Adjust the tie rod end until the quick-release pins (5) can easily be installed.
4 Tighten the locknut.
5 Make sure that the tie rod end is in safety.
6 Safety the locknut with
(c) Put the pelmet (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(4) Connect the power supply
CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Refer to the match marks and install the wires (46) and the nuts (45). (b) Install the cover plate (43) with the screws (44).
(c) Put the clamps (49) and (50) in position and install the washer (48) and the bolt (47).
(d) Put the clamps (40) and (42) in position and install the nuts (41).
(e) Install the bonding strap (52) together with the bolt (54), the washer (53) and the nut (51) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) Connect the galley supply
(a) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(b) Connect the hose (65) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (63) and tighten the clamps (64).
(c) Connect the waste water pipe (66) and tighten the clamps (67).
(d) Connect the potable water pipe (69) and tighten the nut (68).
C. Connect the Galley Splitline
(2) Install the Floor Fittings
(a) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (70) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-400-801).
(b) Install the bushes (70) and the new AIPC 25-31-01-07-030 PACKINGS (69).
(c) Put the floor fittings (68) in position.
(d) Put the shims (67) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
(e) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolts (65).
(f) Install the washers (66) and the bolts (65).
(g) Install the bushings (64) and (63).
(b) Carefully put the galley modules (100) and (101) in position.
(c) Install the screws (110), (104) and (113).
(d) Put the plate (111) in position and install the screws (112).
(e) Put the bracket (109) in position and install the screws (108).
(f) Install the screws (107), the covers (105) and the screws (106).
(g) Install the washers (103) and the screws (102).
(h) Put the angle (115) in position and install the screws (116) and (119).
(i) Install the levers (118) and (117).
(j) Put the work tables (121) and (120) in position and install the screws (114).
(4) Seal the Splitline Joints
(b) Clean the splitline joints with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Apply the new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) at all the splitline joints.
(5) Connect the Supply Splitlines
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Connect all supply splitlines as necessary.
(6) Carefully lift the galley above the shims (67).
Subtask 25-31-41-420-062-DN ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you removed the galley from the cabin.
(1) Unless specified TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001). (2) Install the Floor Fittings
(a) Install the adhesive tape on the installation points of the bushes (70) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-400-801).
(b) Install the bushes (70) and the new AIPC 25-31-01-07-030 PACKINGS (69).
(c) Put the floor fittings (68) in position.
(d) Put the shims (67) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
(e) Apply the Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) to the threads of the bolts (65).
(f) Install the washers (66) and the bolts (65).
(g) Install the bushings (64) and (63).
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Connect the Galley at the Splitline NOTE: The splitline screws and bolts are painted red.
(a) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(b) Carefully put the galley modules (100) and (101) in position.
(c) Install the screws (110), (104) and (113).
(d) Put the plate (111) in position and install the screws (112).
(e) Put the bracket (109) in position and install the screws (108).
(f) Install the screws (107), the covers (105) and the screws (106).
(g) Install the washers (103) and the screws (102).
(h) Put the angle (115) in position and install the screws (116) and (119).
(i) Install the levers (118) and (117).
(j) Put the work tables (121) and (120) in position and install the screws (114).
(4) Seal the Splitline Joints
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(a) Remove the used sealant of the splitline joints with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC. (b) Clean the splitline joints with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(c) Apply the new Silicone Adhesive Sealant-General Purpose One part legacy (Material No.06CMD9) at all the splitline joints.
(5) Connect the Supply Splitlines
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Connect all supply splitlines as necessary.
(6) Carefully lift the galley above the shims (67).
D. Installation of the Galley Unit
(2) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the Lower Attachments
(a) Put the shims (62) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
(b) Put the plates (61) in position and install the washers (60) and the bolts (59).
(c) Put the covers (74) in position and install the screws (73).
(d) Put the covers (77) in position and install the washers (76) and the screws (75).
(e) Put the covers (72) in position and install the screws (71).
(4) Install the Upper Attachments
(a) Put the tie rods (56) in position and install the quick-release pins (55).
(b) If necessary, remove and adjust the tie rods (56).
1 Remove and discard the lockwire.
2 Loosen the locknut.
3 Adjust the tie rod end until the quick-release pin (55) can be installed easily.
4 Tighten the locknut.
5 Make sure that the tie rod end is in a safe condition.
6 Safety the locknut with the lockwire,14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(5) Connect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Connect the hose (25) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (23) and tighten the clamps (24).
(c) Connect the fresh air pipe (38) to the pipe (40) and tighten the clamp (39).
(d) Connect the waste water drain-hose (27) to the pipe (29) and tighten the clamp (28).
(e) Put the insulation (26) in position.
(f) Connect the potable water pipe (32) to the fitting (30) and tighten the nut(31).
(g) Put the insulation (34) in position and tighten the clamp (33).
(6) Connect the Electrical Connections
(a) Install the clamps (1) and (4), the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(b) Put the bonding straps (15) in position and install the washers (16), the bolts (17) and the nuts (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Put the clamp (9), the bushing (10) and the clamp (11) in position and install the washer (12) and the bolt (13).
1 Refer to the match marks and install the wires (8) and the nuts (7).
2 Put the cover (5) in position and tighten the screws (6).
3 Safety the screws (6) with the lockwire,14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .

(1) Unless specified, TORQUE all nuts, bolts and screws (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001). (2) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the Lower Attachments
(a) Put the shims (62) in position as identified during the removal procedure.
(b) Put the plates (61) in position and install the washers (60) and the bolts (59).
(c) Put the covers (74) in position and install the screws (73).
(d) Put the covers (77) in position and install the washers (76) and the screws (75).
(e) Put the covers (72) in position and install the screws (71).
(4) Install the Upper Attachments
(a) Put the tie rods (56) in position and install the quick-release pins (55).
(b) If necessary, remove and adjust the tie rods (56).
1 Remove and discard the lockwire.
2 Loosen the locknut.
3 Adjust the tie rod end until the quick-release pin (55) can be installed easily.
4 Tighten the locknut.
5 Make sure that the tie rod end is in a safe condition.
6 Safety the locknut with the lockwire,
(5) Connect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Connect the hose (25) of the exhaust air system to the pipe (23) and tighten the clamps (24).
(c) Connect the fresh air pipe (38) to the pipe (40) and tighten the clamp (39).
(d) Connect the waste water drain-hose (27) to the pipe (29) and tighten the clamp (28).
(e) Put the insulation (26) in position.
(f) Connect the potable water pipe (32) to the fitting (30) and tighten the nut(31).
(g) Put the insulation (34) in position and tighten the clamp (33).
(6) Connect the Electrical Connections
(a) Install the clamps (1) and (4), the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(b) Put the bonding straps (15) in position and install the washers (16), the bolts (17) and the nuts (14) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Put the clamp (9), the bushing (10) and the clamp (11) in position and install the washer (12) and the bolt (13).
CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(d) Connect the electrical wires. 1 Refer to the match marks and install the wires (8) and the nuts (7).
2 Put the cover (5) in position and tighten the screws (6).
3 Safety the screws (6) with the lockwire,
E. Do a test of the bonding of the galley and the galley electrical equipment (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

G. Safety Precautions
(1) Remove the warning notice(s) from:
Subtask 25-31-41-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the warning notice(s) from:
- The HP and LP ground air-connectors
- AIR COND panel 30VU
- The water service panel.
H. Operational Test of the Galley Systems
(1) Energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Do a check of the air supply and air exhaust systems as follows:
(a) Do the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or the HP ground connection (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(b) Do the functional test of the applicable air extraction point. Do not de-energize the electrical circuits when the test is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 21-23-00-720-002).
(c) Turn the air outlet clockwise until it is in the closed position.
(d) Make sure that no air comes out from the air outlet.
(e) Examine all the air hoses and the connections for leaks.
(f) If you find leaks, repair them.
(g) Turn the air outlet counterclockwise until it is in the open position.
(h) Make sure that the intensity of the airflow changes when you turn the air outlet.
(3) Do the check of the potable water system and the drain system as follows:
(a) Make sure that the potable water system is filled (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(b) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(c) Examine all the potable water hoses for leaks.
(d) If you find leaks, repair them.
(e) Operate the faucet and make sure that water flows.
(f) Let the water flow until it is clean.
(g) Examine all the waste water hoses for leaks.
(h) If you find leaks, repair them.
(4) Do the operational test of the galley electrical system as follows:
(a) On the galley control panel, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
(b) Operate each electrical unit/component for a short time to make sure that it is serviceable.
5. Close-up(1) Energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Do a check of the air supply and air exhaust systems as follows:
(a) Do the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or the HP ground connection (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(b) Do the functional test of the applicable air extraction point. Do not de-energize the electrical circuits when the test is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 21-23-00-720-002).
(c) Turn the air outlet clockwise until it is in the closed position.
(d) Make sure that no air comes out from the air outlet.
(e) Examine all the air hoses and the connections for leaks.
(f) If you find leaks, repair them.
(g) Turn the air outlet counterclockwise until it is in the open position.
(h) Make sure that the intensity of the airflow changes when you turn the air outlet.
