Installation of the Forward Curtain Rail

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the forward curtains are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the forward curtains are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-013).
Subtask 25-26-41-210-065-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 25-26-41-420-075-AY ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Forward Curtain Rails
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (9), put them in position and install the screws (12).
(3) Tighten the screws (12).
(4) Put the fittings (13) in position.
(5) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (8).
(6) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (8).
(7) Put the curtain rail (2) in position and install the washer (14), the retaining ring (15) and the screws (8).
(8) Tighten the screws (8).
(9) Put the end caps (10) in position and install the screws (11).
(10) Tighten the screws (11).
(11) Install the end panel (3) on the holders (4) of the overhead stowage compartment.
(12) Install the washer (5) and the screw (6).
(13) Tighten the screw (6).
(14) Close the door (7) of the overhead stowage compartment.
(15) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
Subtask 25-26-41-420-075-CO ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (9), put them in position and install the screws (12).
(3) Tighten the screws (12).
(4) Put the fittings (13) in position.
(5) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (8).
(6) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (8).
(7) Put the curtain rail (2) in position and install the washer (14), the retaining ring (15) and the screws (8).
(8) Tighten the screws (8).
(9) Put the end caps (10) in position and install the screws (11).
(10) Tighten the screws (11).
(11) Install the end panel (3) on the holders (4) of the overhead stowage compartment.
(12) Install the washer (5) and the screw (6).
(13) Tighten the screw (6).
(14) Close the door (7) of the overhead stowage compartment.
(15) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
B. Installation of the Forward Curtain Rails
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (9), the washers (16) and the screws (12), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (12).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (8).
(5) Put the fittings (13) in position.
(6) Put the curtain rail (2) in position and install the screws (8), the washer (14) and the retaining ring (15).
(7) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (8).
(8) Tighten the screws (8).
(9) Put the end cap (10) in position and install the screw (11).
(10) Tighten the screw (11).
(11) Install the end panels (3) on the holders (4).
(12) Put the washers (6) in position and install the screws (5).
(13) Tighten the screws (5).
(14) Close the doors (7).
(15) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
Subtask 25-26-41-420-075-CX ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (9), the washers (16) and the screws (12), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (12).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (8).
(5) Put the fittings (13) in position.
(6) Put the curtain rail (2) in position and install the screws (8), the washer (14) and the retaining ring (15).
(7) Put the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (8).
(8) Tighten the screws (8).
(9) Put the end cap (10) in position and install the screw (11).
(10) Tighten the screw (11).
(11) Install the end panels (3) on the holders (4).
(12) Put the washers (6) in position and install the screws (5).
(13) Tighten the screws (5).
(14) Close the doors (7).
(15) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
B. Installation of the Forward Curtain Rail
(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (7), the washers (12) and the screws (8), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (8).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (11).
(5) Put the fittings (13) and the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (11).
(6) Tighten the screws (11).
(7) Put the washer (9) in position and install the retaining ring (10).
(8) Install the end panels (2) on the holders (3).
(9) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (5).
(10) Tighten the screws (5).
(11) Close the doors (6) of the overhead stowage compartments.
(12) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
5. Close-up(1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
(2) If you removed the brackets (7), the washers (12) and the screws (8), install them.
(3) Tighten the screws (8).
(4) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Low strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05BAB1) to the threads of the screws (11).
(5) Put the fittings (13) and the curtain rail (1) in position and install the screws (11).
(6) Tighten the screws (11).
(7) Put the washer (9) in position and install the retaining ring (10).
(8) Install the end panels (2) on the holders (3).
(9) Put the washers (4) in position and install the screws (5).
(10) Tighten the screws (5).
(11) Close the doors (6) of the overhead stowage compartments.
(12) Install attendant indication panel 320RH1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-22-400-001).
Subtask 25-26-41-410-060-A
A. Close Access
(1) Install the forward curtains (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition. If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007).
Subtask 25-26-41-862-051-A (1) Install the forward curtains (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-400-013).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition. If necessary, install new placards (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-400-007).
