B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
Subtask 25-31-41-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED. A PRESSURIZED SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS WHEN THEY DO WORK ON IT.
(1) De-pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002). C. Safety Precautions
(1) On the overhead panel, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
(2) On the High Pressure (HP) and Low Pressure (LP) ground-air connectors:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
(3) On the water service panel, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the potable water system.
Subtask 25-31-41-865-109-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the overhead panel, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is off)
- All the ENG BLEED pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on)
- PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF legends are on).
(2) On the High Pressure (HP) and Low Pressure (LP) ground-air connectors:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to connect the ground air supply.
(3) On the water service panel, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the potable water system.

E. Get Access
(1) Remove the contents which are kept in the galley, if necessary.
(2) Remove the galley equipment.
(a) Remove the coffee maker (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-15-000-001).
(b) Remove the ovens (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
(c) Remove the galley trolleys.
(3) Remove the curtain and curtain rail, if installed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001) and the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002) in the area of the galley.
(5) Remove the cockpit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the contents which are kept in the galley, if necessary.
(2) Remove the galley equipment.
(a) Remove the coffee maker (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-15-000-001).
(b) Remove the ovens (Ref. AMM TASK 25-35-19-000-001).
(c) Remove the galley trolleys.
(3) Remove the curtain and curtain rail, if installed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001) and the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002) in the area of the galley.
(5) Remove the cockpit door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-51-11-000-001).
Subtask 25-31-41-020-062-CO ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Galley Unit
(1) Remove all decorative material, if necessary.
(2) Remove the Upper Attachments
(a) Remove the screws (2) and the pelmet (1).
(b) Remove the quick-release pins (5) and disconnect the tie rods (6) from the A/C structure.
(3) Disconnect the Electrical Connections
(b) Remove the nuts (45) and the wires (46).
(c) Remove the bolt (47), the washer (48) and remove the clamps (49) and (50).
(d) Remove the nut (51), the bolt (54), the washer (53) and the bonding strap (52).
(e) Remove the nuts (41) and the clamps (40) and (42).
(4) Disconnect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Loosen the clamps (64) and disconnect the exhaust air hose (65) from the pipe (63).
(b) Open the door (60).
(c) Remove the screws (62) and the access panel (61).
(d) Push the insulation of the waste water hose (66) up.
(e) Loosen the clamps (67) and disconnect the waste water hose (66).
(f) Push the insulation of the potable water pipe (69) up.
(g) Loosen the nut (68) and disconnect the potable water pipe (69).
(h) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5) Remove the Lower Attachments
(b) Remove the (13) and the covers (12).
(c) Remove the bolts (7), the washers (8) and the nuts (14).
(d) Remove the plates (9).
(e) Remove the eccentric bushings (10) and the bushings (11).
(f) Carefully move the galley to the center of the cabin.
(g) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 25-31-41-020-062-DN ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all decorative material, if necessary.
(2) Remove the Upper Attachments
(a) Remove the screws (2) and the pelmet (1).
(b) Remove the quick-release pins (5) and disconnect the tie rods (6) from the A/C structure.
(3) Disconnect the Electrical Connections
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM.
IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Loosen the screws (44) and remove the cover (43). (b) Remove the nuts (45) and the wires (46).
(c) Remove the bolt (47), the washer (48) and remove the clamps (49) and (50).
(d) Remove the nut (51), the bolt (54), the washer (53) and the bonding strap (52).
(e) Remove the nuts (41) and the clamps (40) and (42).
(4) Disconnect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Loosen the clamps (64) and disconnect the exhaust air hose (65) from the pipe (63).
(b) Open the door (60).
(c) Remove the screws (62) and the access panel (61).
(d) Push the insulation of the waste water hose (66) up.
(e) Loosen the clamps (67) and disconnect the waste water hose (66).
(f) Push the insulation of the potable water pipe (69) up.
(g) Loosen the nut (68) and disconnect the potable water pipe (69).
(h) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5) Remove the Lower Attachments
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Remove the screws (4) and the rub strips (3). (b) Remove the (13) and the covers (12).
(c) Remove the bolts (7), the washers (8) and the nuts (14).
(d) Remove the plates (9).
(e) Remove the eccentric bushings (10) and the bushings (11).
(f) Carefully move the galley to the center of the cabin.
(g) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
A. Removal of the Galley Unit
(1) Remove all the decorative material, if necessary.
(2) Disconnect the Electrical Connections
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (6).
(b) Loosen the screws (6) and remove the cover (5).
(c) Remove the wires.
(d) Remove the bolt (13), the washer (12), the clamp (11), the bushing (10) and the clamp (9).
(e) Remove the nuts (14), the bolts (17), the washers (16) and the bonding straps (15).
(f) Remove the nuts (3), the washers (2), and the clamps (1) and (4).
(3) Disconnect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Loosen the clamps (24) and disconnect the exhaust air hose (25) from the pipe (23).
(b) Loosen the clamp (39) and disconnect the fresh air pipe (38) from the pipe (40).
(c) Open the door (20).
(d) Remove the screws (21) and the access panel (22).
(e) Push the insulation (26) of the waste water hose (27) up.
(f) Loosen the clamp (28) and disconnect the waste water hose (27) from the pipe (29).
(g) Loosen the clamp (33) and push the insulation (34) of the potable water pipe (32) up.
(h) Loosen the nut (31) and disconnect the potable water pipe (32) from the fitting (30).
(i) Disconnect the control cable (37) from the ring (36) of the drain valve (35).
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the Upper Attachments
(a) Remove the screws (50), the washers (51) and the pelmet (52).
(b) Remove the screws (54) and the pelmet (53).
(c) Remove the screws (57) and the access covers (58).
(d) Remove the quick-release pins (55) and disconnect the tie rods (56) from the A/C structure.
(5) Remove the Lower Attachments
(b) Remove the screws (75), the washers (76) and the covers (77).
(c) Remove the screws (73) and the covers (74).
(d) Remove the bolts (59), the washers (60) and the plates (61).
(e) Remove the shims (62).
(f) Identify the number and position of the shims (62) for the installation.
(g) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(h) Carefully lift the galley and move it to the center of the cabin.
Subtask 25-31-41-020-050-CM ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove all the decorative material, if necessary.
(2) Disconnect the Electrical Connections
(a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the screws (6).
(b) Loosen the screws (6) and remove the cover (5).
(c) Remove the wires.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM.
IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR WHEN YOU CONNECT THE WIRES YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
1 Remove the nuts (7) and the wires (8). (d) Remove the bolt (13), the washer (12), the clamp (11), the bushing (10) and the clamp (9).
(e) Remove the nuts (14), the bolts (17), the washers (16) and the bonding straps (15).
(f) Remove the nuts (3), the washers (2), and the clamps (1) and (4).
(3) Disconnect the Galley Supply Connections
(a) Loosen the clamps (24) and disconnect the exhaust air hose (25) from the pipe (23).
(b) Loosen the clamp (39) and disconnect the fresh air pipe (38) from the pipe (40).
(c) Open the door (20).
(d) Remove the screws (21) and the access panel (22).
(e) Push the insulation (26) of the waste water hose (27) up.
(f) Loosen the clamp (28) and disconnect the waste water hose (27) from the pipe (29).
(g) Loosen the clamp (33) and push the insulation (34) of the potable water pipe (32) up.
(h) Loosen the nut (31) and disconnect the potable water pipe (32) from the fitting (30).
(i) Disconnect the control cable (37) from the ring (36) of the drain valve (35).
(j) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the Upper Attachments
(a) Remove the screws (50), the washers (51) and the pelmet (52).
(b) Remove the screws (54) and the pelmet (53).
(c) Remove the screws (57) and the access covers (58).
(d) Remove the quick-release pins (55) and disconnect the tie rods (56) from the A/C structure.
(5) Remove the Lower Attachments
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Remove the screws (71) and the covers (72). (b) Remove the screws (75), the washers (76) and the covers (77).
(c) Remove the screws (73) and the covers (74).
(d) Remove the bolts (59), the washers (60) and the plates (61).
(e) Remove the shims (62).
(f) Identify the number and position of the shims (62) for the installation.
(g) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(h) Carefully lift the galley and move it to the center of the cabin.
B. Disconnect the Galley Splitline
(b) Carefully lift the galley and move it to the center of the aircraft.
(d) Remove the screws (20).
(e) Remove the screws (24) and (26).
(f) Remove the screws (30) and (31) and remove the fitting (29).
(g) Remove the screws (27) and the fitting (28).
(h) Carefully separate the galley modules (21) and (25) and remove them from the aircraft.
(2) Remove the floor fittings
(a) Remove the shims (20).
(b) Identify the number and position of the shims for the installation.
(c) Remove the bolts (19) and the washers (18).
(d) Remove the floor fittings (17).
(e) Remove and discard the old packings (16).
(f) Remove the bushes (15).
(g) Remove the adhesive tape from the installation points of the bushes (15) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-000-802).
Subtask 25-31-41-020-050-DL ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you must remove the galley from the aircraft.
(1) Disconnect the Galley at the Splitline WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(b) Carefully lift the galley and move it to the center of the aircraft.
NOTE: The splitline screws and bolts are painted red.
(c) Remove the screws (22) and the block (23). (d) Remove the screws (20).
(e) Remove the screws (24) and (26).
(f) Remove the screws (30) and (31) and remove the fitting (29).
(g) Remove the screws (27) and the fitting (28).
(h) Carefully separate the galley modules (21) and (25) and remove them from the aircraft.
(2) Remove the floor fittings
(a) Remove the shims (20).
(b) Identify the number and position of the shims for the installation.
(c) Remove the bolts (19) and the washers (18).
(d) Remove the floor fittings (17).
(e) Remove and discard the old packings (16).
(f) Remove the bushes (15).
(g) Remove the adhesive tape from the installation points of the bushes (15) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-000-802).
B. Disconnect the Galley Splitline
(b) Remove the screws (114) and the work tables (120) and (121).
(c) Remove the levers (117) and (118).
(d) Remove the screws (116) and (119) and the angle (115).
(e) Remove the screws (102) and the washers (103)
(f) Remove the screws (106) and the cover (105).
(g) Remove the screw (107).
(h) Remove the screws (108) and the bracket (109).
(i) Remove the screws (110) and (104) and (113).
(j) Remove the screws (112) and the plate (111).
(k) Remove all the remaining splitline screws as necessary.
(l) Carefully disconnect the galley modules (100) and (101) and remove them from the aircraft.
(2) Remove the floor fittings
(a) Remove the bushings (63) and (64).
(b) Remove the bolts (65), the washers (66) and the shims (67).
(c) Identify the number and position of the shims (67) for the installation.
(d) Remove the floor fittings (68).
(e) Remove and discard the packings (69).
(f) Remove the bushes (70).
(g) Remove the adhesive tape from the installation points of the bushes (70) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-000-802).
NOTE: This procedure is only necessary if you must remove the galley from the aircraft.
WARNING:
SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY. THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY. IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT IT, IT WILL FALL. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS, AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Disconnect the Galley at the Splitline NOTE: The splitline screws and bolts are painted red.
(a) Prevent damage to the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(b) Remove the screws (114) and the work tables (120) and (121).
(c) Remove the levers (117) and (118).
(d) Remove the screws (116) and (119) and the angle (115).
(e) Remove the screws (102) and the washers (103)
(f) Remove the screws (106) and the cover (105).
(g) Remove the screw (107).
(h) Remove the screws (108) and the bracket (109).
(i) Remove the screws (110) and (104) and (113).
(j) Remove the screws (112) and the plate (111).
(k) Remove all the remaining splitline screws as necessary.
(l) Carefully disconnect the galley modules (100) and (101) and remove them from the aircraft.
(2) Remove the floor fittings
(a) Remove the bushings (63) and (64).
(b) Remove the bolts (65), the washers (66) and the shims (67).
(c) Identify the number and position of the shims (67) for the installation.
(d) Remove the floor fittings (68).
(e) Remove and discard the packings (69).
(f) Remove the bushes (70).
(g) Remove the adhesive tape from the installation points of the bushes (70) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-22-00-000-802).
