(2) If necessary, put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the closed cargo door.
(3) Open the access panel 154AR to get access to the selector of the control panel.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the cargo door is closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) If necessary, put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the closed cargo door.

(3) Set the selector of the control panel to the CLOSED position and hold it during the clearance check.

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGE OF THE CARGO DOOR IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU UNLOCK IT. STAY AFT OF (LEFT OF) THE DOOR WHEN YOU UNLOCK IT BECAUSE IT CAN OPEN SUDDENLY AND CAUSE INJURY.
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door until it is in the vertical position (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001). (2) If necessary, remove access panel 826AR to get access to the locking hooks of the closed aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-14-000-801).
(3) Set the selector of the control panel to the CLOSED position and hold it during the clearance check.
NOTE: This is necessary to keep the aft cargo-compartment door in the fully closed position when it is not locked.
(4) If necessary, adjust the position of the released locking hooks (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-11-820-002).(5) Do the test that follows:

(5) If clearance J2 is out of tolerance, adjust proximity switch 34WV (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-00-820-004).
(6) If clearance J1 is out of tolerance, adjust proximity switch 32WV (Ref. AMM TASK 52-71-00-820-003).
(7) If clearance J3 is out of tolerance, adjust proximity switch 12MJ (Ref. AMM TASK 52-35-13-400-002).
(8) If removed, install access panels 826AR, 826BR and 826CR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-33-400-001).
(9) Install the inner access panel (1) with the washer (2) and the screw (3) on the door structure.
(10) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is correctly closed and locked when the test is completed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

(1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002). (2) If necessary, remove access panels 826AR, 826BR and 826CR to get access to the applicable proximity switches (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-33-000-001).
(3) Remove the screw (3), the washer (2) and the inner access panel (1) from the door structure.

(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door until the drift pins are retracted from the door frame (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove the aft cargo-compartment door-lining (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-13-000-001).
(3) Push the interlock lever of the interlock mechanism outboard to release the blockage from the locking mechanism.
(4) Move the door handle down to the LOCKED position and push it in the recess of the door structure.
(5) If necessary, adjust the position of the extended drift pins (Ref. AMM TASK 52-32-11-820-002).
(6) Do the test that follows:
