A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the aft cargo-compartment door.

B. Cleaning
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean:

- All the fasteners
- The mating surfaces of the access panel(s) and the cargo door.

A. Installation of the Aft Cargo-Compartment Door Access-Panels
(1) Put the access panel (2) in position, then the access panel (1) on the aft cargo-compartment door.
(2) TORQUE the studs (3) to between 3 and 2.7 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

(2) TORQUE the studs (3) to between 3 and 2.7 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )
. A. Installation of the Aft Cargo-Compartment-Door Access-Panel
(1) For each sight glass (5) that you removed, install a new one as follows:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the mating surface of the sheet (4) and the new AIPC 52-32-11-08-050 SIGHT GLASS (5).
(b) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the shafts of the screws (6) and on the nuts (3).
(c) Put the sight glass (5) in position on the access panel (1).
(d) Install the sheet (4), the screws (6) and the nuts (3).
(e) Tighten the nuts (3).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) in the space between the sheet (4), the sight glass (5) and the access panel (1).
(g) Let the sealant dry.
(2) Put the access panel (1) in position on the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) For the studs (2) with Part Number (P/N) NSA55137 or NSA55131:
(a) Turn the studs (2) a quarter turn clockwise.
(4) For the studs (2) P/N ABS0691:
(a) TORQUE the studs (2) to between 3 and 2.7 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

5. Close-up(1) For each sight glass (5) that you removed, install a new one as follows:
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the mating surface of the sheet (4) and the new AIPC 52-32-11-08-050 SIGHT GLASS (5).
(b) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) on the shafts of the screws (6) and on the nuts (3).
(c) Put the sight glass (5) in position on the access panel (1).
(d) Install the sheet (4), the screws (6) and the nuts (3).
(e) Tighten the nuts (3).
(f) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) in the space between the sheet (4), the sight glass (5) and the access panel (1).
(g) Let the sealant dry.
(2) Put the access panel (1) in position on the aft cargo-compartment door.
(3) For the studs (2) with Part Number (P/N) NSA55137 or NSA55131:
(a) Turn the studs (2) a quarter turn clockwise.
(4) For the studs (2) P/N ABS0691:
(a) TORQUE the studs (2) to between 3 and 2.7 m.N (26.55 and 23.89 lbf.in )

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment is correctly closed and locked (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
