A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the access doors to the Video Control Center (VCC) are opened.

(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the Control Panel (CP) (11MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001).
Subtask 23-36-11-860-050-AG ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the Control Panel (CP) (11MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(3) Make sure that the access doors to the overhead stowage compartment and the VCC (1) are open.
(4) Make sure that the closeout panel (2) of the VCC (1) is removed.
(5) Make sure that the equipment of the VCC (1) is removed:
(a) Make sure that the Removable Display Unit (11MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-002).
(b) Make sure that the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-000-802).
(c) Make sure that the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
Subtask 23-36-11-865-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(3) Make sure that the access doors to the overhead stowage compartment and the VCC (1) are open.
(4) Make sure that the closeout panel (2) of the VCC (1) is removed.
(5) Make sure that the equipment of the VCC (1) is removed:
(a) Make sure that the Removable Display Unit (11MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-002).
(b) Make sure that the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-000-802).
(c) Make sure that the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Video Control Center (VCC)
(1) Make sure that the door (1) to the overhead stowage compartment is open.
(2) Install the VCC (2) as follows:
(a) Carefully put the VCC (2) in position in the overhead stowage compartment (3).
(b) Install the screws (4) and the washers (5) to the VCC (2).
(3) Install the bonding cables (11) as follows:
(a) Put the bonding cables (11) in position on the studs (7).
(b) Install the washers (10) and the nuts (9).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the ground bonding point on the bracket (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Install the electrical connectors (8) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Install the electrical connectors (8) to their receptacles (see their applied identification).
(d) Install the clamps (12), the washers (14), and the nuts (15) to the studs (13).
Subtask 23-36-11-420-050-AI ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the door (1) to the overhead stowage compartment is open.
(2) Install the VCC (2) as follows:
(a) Carefully put the VCC (2) in position in the overhead stowage compartment (3).
(b) Install the screws (4) and the washers (5) to the VCC (2).
(3) Install the bonding cables (11) as follows:
(a) Put the bonding cables (11) in position on the studs (7).
(b) Install the washers (10) and the nuts (9).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the ground bonding point on the bracket (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Install the electrical connectors (8) as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(c) Install the electrical connectors (8) to their receptacles (see their applied identification).
(d) Install the clamps (12), the washers (14), and the nuts (15) to the studs (13).
B. Installation of the Video Control Center (VCC)
(1) Carefully put the VCC (1) in its installation position on the plate (8).
(2) Engage and lock the pins (10).
(3) Install the VCC (1) with the captive screws (9).
(4) TORQUE the captive screws (9) to between 0.18 and 0.14 m.daN (15.93 and 12.39 lbf.in )
.
(5) Installation of the bonding straps (15):
(a) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(b) Install the bonding straps (15), the washers (14) and the screws (13).
(c) Tighten the screws (13).
(d) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Connection of the electrical connectors (12):
(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Tighten the screws (11).
(e) Install the spacers (21) (if applicable) and the harness clamps (17) to the bracket holes of the VCC (1) with the washers (19) and the screws (20).
(f) Engage the electrical harness of the connectors (12) in the harness clamps (17).
(h) Tighten the screws (20).
(i) Install the new TIE WRAP(S) (18) on the harness clamps (17).
Subtask 23-36-11-865-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Carefully put the VCC (1) in its installation position on the plate (8).
(2) Engage and lock the pins (10).
(3) Install the VCC (1) with the captive screws (9).
(4) TORQUE the captive screws (9) to between 0.18 and 0.14 m.daN (15.93 and 12.39 lbf.in )
. (5) Installation of the bonding straps (15):
(a) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(b) Install the bonding straps (15), the washers (14) and the screws (13).
(c) Tighten the screws (13).
(d) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Connection of the electrical connectors (12):
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE BONDING STRAP(S) IS(ARE) CONNECTED BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S).
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.(b) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT EACH PLUG TO THE CORRECT RECEPTACLE (USE THE IDENTIFICATION MARKS).
(c) Connect the electrical connectors (12) to their related receptacles (16). Refer to the identification marks made during the removal procedure. (d) Tighten the screws (11).
(e) Install the spacers (21) (if applicable) and the harness clamps (17) to the bracket holes of the VCC (1) with the washers (19) and the screws (20).
(f) Engage the electrical harness of the connectors (12) in the harness clamps (17).
CAUTION:
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE CLAMPS UNTIL YOU CONNECT ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND THE HARNESS IS IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, DAMAGE TO THE HARNESS CAN OCCUR.
(g) Make sure that the electrical harness of the connectors (12) are in the correct position. (h) Tighten the screws (20).
(i) Install the new TIE WRAP(S) (18) on the harness clamps (17).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-710-005).

A. Close Access
(1) Install the Crew Panel (CP) in the Video Control Center (VCC) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the VCC access door (1).
Subtask 23-36-11-410-050-V ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the Crew Panel (CP) in the Video Control Center (VCC) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the VCC access door (1).
A. Close Access
(1) Install the Control Panel (CP) in the Video Control Center (VCC) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-001).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the VCC access door (1).
Subtask 23-36-11-410-050-AN ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the Control Panel (CP) in the Video Control Center (VCC) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-001).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the VCC access door (1).
A. Close Access
(1) Install the equipment removed from the VCC:
(a) Install the Removable Display Unit (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-002).
(b) Install the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-400-802).
(c) Install the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-400-801).
(2) Install the closeout panel (2):
(a) Install the screw (7), bonding strap (4), washers (5) and nut (6).
(b) Tighten the nut (6).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Put the closeout panel (2) in its installation position on the VCC (1) and install it with the fasteners (3).
(3) Close the applicable overhead stowage compartment and VCC (1) doors.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the stepladder.
Subtask 23-36-11-862-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the equipment removed from the VCC:
(a) Install the Removable Display Unit (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-002).
(b) Install the Seat Power Box/Unit / Overhead Distribution Box (36MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-23-400-802).
(c) Install the Modem Processor Unit / Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-400-801).
(2) Install the closeout panel (2):
(a) Install the screw (7), bonding strap (4), washers (5) and nut (6).
(b) Tighten the nut (6).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Put the closeout panel (2) in its installation position on the VCC (1) and install it with the fasteners (3).
(3) Close the applicable overhead stowage compartment and VCC (1) doors.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the stepladder.
B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
