Subtask 23-36-23-860-052-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(3) Make sure that the access doors to the overhead stowage compartment and the VCC (1) are opened.
(4) Make sure that the closeout panel (2) of the VCC (1) is removed.
(5) Make sure that the Remote Modem Unit (99MH) is removed, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
Subtask 23-36-23-865-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is in position below the left Overhead Stowage Compartment (OHSC) between frames FR20 and FR21.
(3) Make sure that the access doors to the overhead stowage compartment and the VCC (1) are opened.
(4) Make sure that the closeout panel (2) of the VCC (1) is removed.
(5) Make sure that the Remote Modem Unit (99MH) is removed, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-000-801).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 23-36-23-420-051-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Seat Power Unit (SPU)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Carefully put the SPU (11) in its installation position inside the VCC (1) and engage the fasteners (8).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) On the receptacles without the electrical connector, make sure that:
(a) The blanking cap is installed. If necessary, install the new CAP - BLANKING.
Subtask 23-36-23-865-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Carefully put the SPU (11) in its installation position inside the VCC (1) and engage the fasteners (8).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT EACH PLUG TO THE CORRECT RECEPTACLE (USE THE IDENTIFICATION MARKS).
(7) Connect the electrical connectors (9) and (10) to their related receptacles (12) and (13). Refer to the identification marks made during the removal procedure. (8) On the receptacles without the electrical connector, make sure that:
(a) The blanking cap is installed. If necessary, install the new CAP - BLANKING.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Close Access
(1) Install the Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-400-801), if removed.
(2) Install the closeout panel (2):
(a) Install the screw (7), bonding strap (4), washers (5) and nut (6).
(b) Tighten the nut (6).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Put the closeout panel (2) in its installation position on the VCC (1) and install it with the fasteners (3).
(3) Close the applicable overhead stowage compartment and VCC (1) doors.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the stepladder.
Subtask 23-36-23-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the Remote Modem Unit (99MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-31-400-801), if removed.
(2) Install the closeout panel (2):
(a) Install the screw (7), bonding strap (4), washers (5) and nut (6).
(b) Tighten the nut (6).
(c) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(d) Put the closeout panel (2) in its installation position on the VCC (1) and install it with the fasteners (3).
(3) Close the applicable overhead stowage compartment and VCC (1) doors.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the stepladder.
E. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) System (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-710-005).
5. Close-up(1) Do the operational test of the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) System (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-710-005).
Subtask 23-36-23-862-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
