D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (2) Push the VCC MAIN POWER P/BSW on Video Control Center (VCC) 10MH and make sure that the internal light comes on.
   (3) Make sure that the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system boot sequence is completed.
NOTE: Approximately five minutes are necessary to complete the boot sequence.
   (4) In the cabin, on all emergency oxygen containers, do step (a) and/or step (b) as applicable:
     (a) Pull out the test button with your fingers. Then turn it 90 degrees to the TEST position.
     (b) Push the left side of the test button on the door assembly.
NOTE: The over-center spring keeps the lever of the test button at 90 degrees to the door surface. The lever of the test button must stay in this position until you set it to the initial position.
   (5) As necessary, connect a HEADSET - ELECTRICAL to the seat audio jacks.

1.At the Control Panel (CP) 11MH, on the MAIN MENU screen:

  • touch the BOARDING MUSIC button

  • make a selection of a boarding music title
  • the music title selection is highlighted

  • the PLAY button changes to STOP.

In the passenger compartment:

  • The "WAP TO WAP" test screen comes into view.
7.On control panel 11MH, on the "WAP TO WAP" test screen:

  • Touch the RUN WAP TO WAP test icon.
  • The WAP TO WAP test starts.
NOTE: Approximately, a minimum of 3 minutes is necessary for this test.
8.On control panel 11MH, before the end of the 3 minutes:

  • Touch the GROUND TEST icon.
  • The "GROUND TEST" screen comes into view.
  • Monitor the status of each frequency.
  • Make sure that for each cycle of WAP (on and off) and for many combinations, the two frequencies show ON for all WAPs.
NOTE: Approximately, a minimum of 3 minutes is necessary for this test.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE TOO MUCH FORCE TO CLOSE THE EMERGENCY OXYGEN CONTAINER. IF YOU USE TOO MUCH FORCE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LATCH MECHANISM. IF THE LATCH MECHANISM DOES NOT ENGAGE EASILY, MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT IN THE EMERGENCY OXYGEN CONTAINER IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
       1 Push the door of the emergency oxygen container to the closed position.
       2 Push the door of the emergency oxygen container, at both sides of the test button, to lock the latch mechanism.
       3 Make sure that the door is flush with the adjacent panels.
       4 Do step (b) and/or step (c) as applicable.
     (b) Turn the test buttons 90 degrees to normal position.
NOTE: Spring tension will retract the test buttons automatically when they are in the normal position.
     (c) Push the test buttons back to normal position and let them retract into their containers.

   (3) Make sure that the switch guard is in position on the MASK MAN ON pushbutton switch.
   (4) Push the VCC MAIN POWER P/BSW on VCC 10MH and make sure that the internal light goes off.
   (5) Close the applicable access door(s) to VCC 10MH.

A. Close Access
   (1) Remove the headsets connected to the remote jack module, if installed.
   (2) Push the doors of the emergency oxygen containers to the CLOSED position until they engage.
   (3) On the emergency oxygen containers turn the door stops to the NORMAL position and let them retract into their containers.
   (4) Push the VCC-MAIN-POWER pushbutton-switch on the Video Control Center (VCC) and make sure that the internal light goes off.
   (5) Close the applicable access door(s) to the VCC (10MH).

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
