NOTE: The steps that follow are applicable for all Rave systems.
   (1) Do a Start of Flight Test (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-720-804).
   (2) Start a video sequence at minimum of one seat in each passenger class (if applicable).
   (3) Start an audio sequence at minimum of one seat in each passenger class (if applicable).

NOTE: The steps that follow are applicable for all Rave systems.
1.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Login/Welcome" page:
NOTE: The steps that follow are applicable for all Rave systems.
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Flight" icon.
  • The "Flight Mode login" page comes into view.
  • Enter the password.

  • Touch the "Enter" icon.
  • The "Flight Details" page comes into view.
  • Touch the "Entertainment" icon at the bottom of the "Flight Details" page.
  • The "Entertainment" page comes into view.
  • Touch the "Entertainment On" button.
NOTE: Approximately two minutes are necessary to turn on the entertainment.
  • A confirmation pop-up comes into view to turn on the entertainment.
  • Touch the "Yes" icon.

2.On removable DU 11MH:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the hand icon in the bottom right corner of the page.
  • The application selection area comes into view.
3.On removable DU 11MH, on the application selection area:
On removable DU 11MH:

  • Touch the "PRAM" icon.
  • The "PRAM" page comes into view.
4.On removable DU 11MH, on the "PRAM" page:
On removable DU 11MH and in the cabin:
  • Select a pre-recorded announcement.
  • Touch the repeat icon.
  • Adjust the volume to hear correctly the pre-recorded announcement.
  • You can hear the pre-recorded announcement on all overhead speakers.
NOTE: The following steps are applicable only for Rave Centric system and Rave mixed system.
  • The announcement pop-up "in progress" comes into view on the seats DUs that have the backlight available.
  • The entertainment stops on all seats.
NOTE: The following step is applicable for all Rave systems.
5.On removable DU 11MH:
In the cabin:
  • Start a PA Direct for all zones.
  • The PRAM stops.
  • You cannot hear the PRAM on the overhead cabin speakers.
NOTE: The following step is applicable only for Rave Centric system and Rave mixed system.
  • There are no changes on the seats.
NOTE: The following step is applicable for all Rave systems.
6.On removable DU 11MH:
In the cabin:
  • Stop the PA direct for all zones.
  • The PRAM continues to play.
NOTE: The following step is applicable only for Rave Centric system and Rave mixed system.
  • There are no changes on the seats.
7.In the cabin:
NOTE: The following steps are applicable for all Rave systems.
In the cabin:
  • Start a zonal PA from the CIDS handset.
  • The PRAM continues to play on the overhead cabin speakers.
  • Stop the zonal PA.
  • The PRAM continues to play on the overhead cabin speakers.
8.On removable DU 11MH:
In the cabin:
  • Touch the Stop icon to stop the PRAM.
  • You cannot hear the PRAM on the overhead cabin speakers.
NOTE: The following steps are applicable only for Rave Centric system and Rave mixed system.
  • The video continues to play on the seat DUs.
  • You can hear the audio part of the video.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
NOTE: The step that follows is applicable for all Rave systems.
   (1) Push the PAX SYS switch on VCC 10MH.
   (2) Make sure that the internal light of the PAX SYS switch goes off.
   (3) Stop the video and the audio sequence on the applicable passenger seats.

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the applicable access door(s) to VCC 10MH.
