3. Job Set-up
Subtask 23-33-00-860-158-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (3) Set the PAX SYS switch on the VCC to the ON position.
   (4) Make sure that the internal light of the PAX SYS switch comes on.
   (5) Wait until the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system boot sequence is completed.
NOTE: Approximately five minutes are necessary to complete the boot sequence.
   (6) Make sure that the software and the media are loaded (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-00-600-802).

1.On removable Display Unit (DU) 11MH, on the "Login/Welcome" page:

On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Flight" icon.
  • The "Flight Mode Login" page comes into view.
2.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Flight Mode Login" page:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Enter the password.

  • Touch the "Enter" icon.
  • The "Flight Details" page comes into view.
3.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Flight Details" page:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Depart:" icon.
  • The "Airport Entry keyboard" page comes into view.
4.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Airport Entry keyboard" page:

  • Enter or select a correct city code.

5.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Airport Entry keyboard" page:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Enter" icon.
  • The departure city is updated.
6.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Flight Details" page:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Arrive:" icon.
  • The "Airport Entry keyboard" page comes into view.
7.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Airport Entry keyboard" page:

  • Enter or select a correct city code.

8.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Airport Entry keyboard" page:
On removable DU 11MH:
  • Touch the "Enter" icon.
  • The arrival city is updated.
9.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Flight Details" page:
On removable DU 11MH, on the "Flight Details" page:
  • Touch the "Save" icon.
  • The two updated cities come into view.
  • A green check mark comes into view temporarily.
  • At the bottom left corner of the page, the two updated cities information comes into view.

  • Touch the "Entertainment" icon.
  • The "Entertainment mode" page comes into view.
11.On removable DU 11MH, on the "Entertainment mode" page:

  • Touch the "PAX" icon.
  • The "PAX Entertainment options" page comes into view.
12.On removable DU 11MH, on the "PAX Entertainment options" page:

  • Touch the "Entertainment on" icon.
  • The pop-up "Begin Entertainment with this Flight" comes into view.
13.On removable DU 11MH:

  • Touch the "Yes" icon to start the entertainment.
  • The "Entertainment on" comes into view.

NOTE: The steps that follow are applicable only for Rave Centric system and Rave mixed system.
In the cabin:
  • The start page comes into view on the in-seat DUs.
  • The hot spare units stay OFF.

  • The "Overhead Entertainment options" page comes into view.

  • Touch the "Welcome" icon.
  • The start page comes into view on All DUs.
  • The hot spares stay OFF.
16.On removable DU 11MH:
In the cabin:
  • Touch the "Display off" icon.
  • All DUs go off.
