1.To simulate L/G DOWN and LOCKED, with Shock Absorber COMPRESSED:

A.On the simulation test box:
On the ECAM Lower DU:
  • set the switch (S1) to the LOCKED position and set the switch (S2) to the GROUND position.
  • the LKD (green) indicator lights come on.

On the panel 402VU:

  • the LKD (green) indicator lights come on.

On the panels 130VU and 131VU:

  • the MASTER WARN lights go off.

2.To simulate L/G DOWN and LOCKED, with Shock Absorber EXTENDED:

A.On the simulation test box:
On the ECAM Lower DU:
  • set the switch (S1) to the LOCKED position and set the switch (S2) to the FLIGHT position.
  • the LKD (green) indicator lights come on.

On the panel 402VU:

  • the LKD (green) indicator lights come on.
