- Install the union (15) in the pump (6) and TORQUE to between 10.7 and 9.70 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )
.
- Install the union (15) in the pump (6) and TORQUE to between 6.82 and 6.26 m.daN (50.29 and 46.17 lbf.ft )
.
(10) Apply the Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the line end-fittings.
(11) Obey the sequence that follows for the installation of the pipes. This is to make sure that no fluid comes out of the pump (6).
(a) Connect the union nut of the pressure pipe (13) to the attenuator (12) on the outlet port of the pump (6).
(b) TORQUE the pressure pipe (13) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (c) Connect the seal drain pipe (10) to the pump (6).
(d) TORQUE the seal drain nut (11) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
. (e) Connect the case drain pipe (2) to the union (3) on the pump (6).
(f) TORQUE the case drain pipe (2) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (g) Connect the suction pipe (16) to the union (15) on the inlet port of the pump (6).
(h) TORQUE the suction pipe (16) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )
. (12) Install quick-release access panel 195AB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(13) Connect the air hose (8) to the pump (6) and install and tighten the clamp (7).
(14) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (9) and the connector receptacle of the pump (6).
(15) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(16) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the pump (6) and safety it with the lockwire
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
