CAUTION:
MAKE A RECORD OF THE REFURBISHMENT OF EACH COMPONENT TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS DATA IS AVAILABLE FOR SUBSEQUENT REFURBISHMENTS. IF THIS DATA IS MISSING, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE SUBSEQUENT REFURBISHMENT WILL NOT AGREE WITH THE FLAMMABILITY REQUIREMENTS.
Subtask 25-20-00-370-063-B A. Painting of the Door/Door Frame Linings
(1) Remove the door/door frame linings as necessary:
(4) If the paint layer thickness is more than 90 micrometers, carefully remove the unwanted paint with the CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320 - 400). Make sure that the maximum paint layer thickness is 90 micrometers.
(5) Carefully sand the surfaces with the CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320 - 400).
(6) Clean the surfaces with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(7) Apply a layer of minimum 15 micrometers of Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) with a maximum of 25 micrometers to the surface with the GUN - AIR SPRAY, STANDARD PAINT or PAINTBRUSH.
Subtask 25-20-00-370-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the door/door frame linings as necessary:
- The door frame linings at the left forward passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005)

CAUTION:
MEASURE THE THICKNESS OF THE PAINT ON THE SURFACES OF THE COMPONENT BEFORE YOU PAINT THEM AGAIN. PAINT THAT IS TOO THICK INCREASES THE WEIGHT AND THE FLAMMABILITY PROPERTIES OF THE AIRCRAFT.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE OF THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE PAINT COATING WITH ABRASIVE PAPER.
(3) If a paint layer is applied, measure the paint layer thickness with the GAGE-THICKNESS, PAINT BORER 518 and do a check if the maximum paint layer thickness is 90 micrometers.(4) If the paint layer thickness is more than 90 micrometers, carefully remove the unwanted paint with the CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320 - 400). Make sure that the maximum paint layer thickness is 90 micrometers.
(5) Carefully sand the surfaces with the CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320 - 400).
