Subtask 12-31-10-860-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft configuration
(1) Park the aircraft on a flat surface. Make sure that the wheels of the nose landing gear are aligned with the aircraft axis and the aircraft points into the wind.
(2) Put fiber material between the tires and the ground surface.
(3) Make sure that the wheel chocks are in position.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARKING BRK control-switch is in the OFF position.
(5) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
4. Procedure(1) Park the aircraft on a flat surface. Make sure that the wheels of the nose landing gear are aligned with the aircraft axis and the aircraft points into the wind.
(2) Put fiber material between the tires and the ground surface.
(3) Make sure that the wheel chocks are in position.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARKING BRK control-switch is in the OFF position.
(5) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 12-31-10-620-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Protection
(1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
(3) Install 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
Subtask 12-31-10-620-053-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION:
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR IF SNOW AND RAIN ENTERS THE ENGINE DURING COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS. ICE CAN FORM AND PREVENT ENGINE ROTATION. ICE ON THE ROTORS CAN ALSO CAUSE ROTOR IMBALANCE. INSTALL INLET AND EXHAUST COVERS TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM ENTERING THE ENGINE.
(2) Install 98D10000013000 COVER-INLET COWL ENGINE, RSE1132 COVER - COMMON NOZZLE, HIX6002 HALF PLUG, RIGHT-THRUST REVERSER and HIX6003 HALF PLUG, LEFT-THRUST REVERSER on the engines. (3) Install 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
NOTE: This tool is included in the 98D20003001000 KIT,COLD WEATHER-MLG WHEELS,ENGINES,PROBES.
A. Aircraft Protection

(2) Prepare the engine for cold weather after shutdown (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-660-803).
(3) Install the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
Subtask 12-31-10-660-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
(2) Prepare the engine for cold weather after shutdown (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-660-803).
(3) Install the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
NOTE: This tool is included in the 98D20003001000 KIT,COLD WEATHER-MLG WHEELS,ENGINES,PROBES.
B. Refueling
(1) If you must do a refueling procedure, refer to the cold-weather fuel procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-28-660-001) for:
Subtask 12-31-10-660-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If you must do a refueling procedure, refer to the cold-weather fuel procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-28-660-001) for:
- The anti-icing additives procedure
- The fuel-tank water drain procedure.
NOTE: It is not necessary to do the fuel-tank water drain procedure at each refueling. The MPD gives the fuel-tank water drain frequency.
C. Water/Waste
(1) Drain the water tank and waste tank, before you open the cargo doors (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-38-660-001).

D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove these items of equipment and keep them at a temperature between 15 DEG.C (59.00 DEG.F) and 35 DEG.C (95.00 DEG.F):

- Multipurpose Disc Drive Unit (MDDU) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-22-000-001)
- Batteries 2PB1 and 2PB2 (Ref. AMM TASK 24-38-51-000-001)
- Emergency Power Supply Unit (EPSU) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-38-000-002)
- Portable fire-extinguisher bottles
- Megaphone
- Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT)

- All the battery-operated equipment installed by the operator in the cabin

- Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) components (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-23-555-801).
E. Oxygen
(1) Slowly close the valve of the crew oxygen cylinder/valve assembly (5750 HM) is one step.
(2) Bleed the oxygen lines:
(a) On panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
(b) On an oxygen-mask stowage box, operate the PRESS to TEST and RESET control slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.
(c) On panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
(d) On panel 21VU, put the warning notice to tell persons not to push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch.
Subtask 12-31-10-620-054-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Slowly close the valve of the crew oxygen cylinder/valve assembly (5750 HM) is one step.

(2) Bleed the oxygen lines:
(a) On panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
(b) On the Captain oxygen-mask stowage-box, push the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push the PRESS TO TEST button on the mask regulator. Hold them until the flow indicator on the storage box goes out of view and you cannot hear the flow (3 seconds).
(c) On the First Officer oxygen-mask stowage-box, push the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push the PRESS TO TEST button on the mask regulator. Hold them until the flow indicator on the storage box goes out of view and you cannot hear the flow (3 seconds).
(d) On panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
(e) On panel 21VU, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch.
Subtask 12-31-10-860-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Slowly close the valves of the crew oxygen cylinder/valve assemblies (5750HM1 and 5750HM2).
(2) Bleed the oxygen lines:
(a) On panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
(b) On the Captain oxygen-mask stowage-box, push the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever. At the same time, push the PRESS TO TEST button on the mask regulator. Hold them until the flow indicator on the storage box goes out of view and you cannot hear the flow (3 seconds).

F. Brake Accumulator
(1) Make sure that the brake accumulator is depressurized or:
(a) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(b) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
(c) Make sure that the pressure on the gauge 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
Subtask 12-31-10-860-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the brake accumulator is depressurized or:
(a) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(b) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
(c) Make sure that the pressure on the gauge 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
G. System Configuration
(1) On the ELEC panel 35VU:
(12) On the FAP 120RH, push the MAIN OFF membrane switch.
Subtask 12-31-10-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the ELEC panel 35VU:
- Make sure that the GALLEY pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch is released (if installed) (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the CABIN FANS pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the YELLOW ELEC PUMP pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Make sure that the PTU pushbutton switch is pushed (the OFF legend is off).
- Make sure that the BLUE PUMP OVRD pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Make sure that the PROBE/WINDOW HEAT pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Set the X BLEED selector switch to SHUT.
- Make sure that the HOT AIR pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Set the EMER EXIT LT switch to ARM.
- Release the AFT ISOL VALVE pushbutton switch (if installed) (the OFF legend is on)
- Release the FWD ISOL VALVE pushbutton switch (if installed) (the OFF legend is on).
- Set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches related to IR 1,2,3 to OFF
- Set the SYS DISPLAY selector switch to OFF.
- Set the PDF and ND potentiometers to OFF.
(12) On the FAP 120RH, push the MAIN OFF membrane switch.

I. De-energize the Aircraft Power Supply
(1) On the APU section of panel 25VU:
Subtask 12-31-10-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the APU section of panel 25VU:
- Push the APU/MASTER SW pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
- Release the MODE SEL pushbutton switch (the MAN legend comes on).
- Set the MAN V/S CTL switch to DN and release. The switch moves to the neutral position. Do this operation several times. This closes the outflow valve (on the lower ECAM display unit, on the PRESS page, make sure that the outflow valve is shown closed).
- Set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
J. Close-up
(1) Close the cockpit door.
(2) Lock the toilet doors open.
(1) Close the cockpit door.
(2) Lock the toilet doors open.
