B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to move the slat and flap control lever.
(2) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(4) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
Subtask 76-11-41-010-064-A (1) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to move the slat and flap control lever.
(2) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that access door 811 is open.
(2) Make sure that the multipurpose control and display units 3CA1 and 3CA2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the radio management panels 1RG1 and 1RG2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the audio control panels 2RN1 and 2RN2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the weather radar control unit 3SQ is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the ATC control unit 3SH is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU are removed.
(8) Make sure that the pitch trim control mechanism is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 27-41-41-000-001).
(9) Make sure that the 98DNSA20208120 RIGGING PIN (11) is installed in the artificial feel unit.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that access door 811 is open.
(2) Make sure that the multipurpose control and display units 3CA1 and 3CA2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the radio management panels 1RG1 and 1RG2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(4) Make sure that the audio control panels 2RN1 and 2RN2 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(5) Make sure that the weather radar control unit 3SQ is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
(6) Make sure that the ATC control unit 3SH is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
(7) Make sure that the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU are removed.
(8) Make sure that the pitch trim control mechanism is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 27-41-41-000-001).
(9) Make sure that the 98DNSA20208120 RIGGING PIN (11) is installed in the artificial feel unit.
Subtask 76-11-41-420-063-A
A. Preparation before Installation of the Throttle Control Lever Assembly
(2) On the bellcrank (41), install a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (40), spacer (47) and a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (48).
(3) Engage the shaft (54) and push it. At the same time, install:
(a) the bushing (53)
(b) the bellcrank (55)
(c) the adjustment bushing (49)
(d) the bellcrank (41)
(e) the bushing (39).
(4) Push the shaft (54) and install the washer (38) and nut (37).
(5) TORQUE the nut (37) to between 29.50 and 22.12 lbf.ft (4.00 and 3.00 m.daN )
.
(6) Installation of the lockwire
CP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
(7) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from connectors 2145VC and 2146VC.
(8) Connect connectors 2145VC and 2146VC.
(9) Install the clamps (82), washers (81) and (83) and screws (80).
(10) Install the clamps (77), washers (78) and (79) and screw (76).
(11) Install the rocker (57) and pin (59).
(12) Install the link (25), bearing (65), bushing (66), screw (64), bushing (61), bearing (60), washer (73) and nut (74).
(13) Install the two new AIPC 76-11-01-01-230 COTTER PINS (72).
(14) Install the two forward covers (63) and the two aft covers (42).
(15) Install the eight screws (46), the eight washers (45) and the eight nuts (44).
(16) Install the eight new AIPC 76-11-01-01-230 COTTER PINS (43).
Subtask 76-11-41-220-055-A WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(1) On the bellcrank (55), install a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (50), the spacer (51) and a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (52). (2) On the bellcrank (41), install a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (40), spacer (47) and a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-310 BEARING (48).
(3) Engage the shaft (54) and push it. At the same time, install:
(a) the bushing (53)
(b) the bellcrank (55)
(c) the adjustment bushing (49)
(d) the bellcrank (41)
(e) the bushing (39).
(4) Push the shaft (54) and install the washer (38) and nut (37).
(5) TORQUE the nut (37) to between 29.50 and 22.12 lbf.ft (4.00 and 3.00 m.daN )
. (6) Installation of the lockwire
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Safety the nut (37) with (7) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from connectors 2145VC and 2146VC.
(8) Connect connectors 2145VC and 2146VC.
(9) Install the clamps (82), washers (81) and (83) and screws (80).
(10) Install the clamps (77), washers (78) and (79) and screw (76).
(11) Install the rocker (57) and pin (59).
(12) Install the link (25), bearing (65), bushing (66), screw (64), bushing (61), bearing (60), washer (73) and nut (74).
(13) Install the two new AIPC 76-11-01-01-230 COTTER PINS (72).
(14) Install the two forward covers (63) and the two aft covers (42).
(15) Install the eight screws (46), the eight washers (45) and the eight nuts (44).
(16) Install the eight new AIPC 76-11-01-01-230 COTTER PINS (43).
B. Make sure that there is a minimum clearance of 0.12 in. (3.05 mm) between the two screws (64) and the eight screws (46). If not, install a new AIPC 76-11-01-01-110 ADJUSTMENT BUSHING (49).
Subtask 76-11-41-420-064-A C. Installation of the Throttle Control Lever Assembly
(2) Install the AIPC 33-13-08-03-110 LIGHTED LABEL (86).
(3) Install the five screws (85).
(4) Install the housing (18).
(5) Install the three screws (20).
(6) Install the three screws (17).
(7) Install the lever (29).
(a) Push the lever to connect the connector located inside at the lever-to-bellcrank junction.
(8) Install the lever (12).
(a) Push the lever to connect the connector located inside at the lever-to-bellcrank junction.
(9) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) on the two screws (15).
(10) Install the two screws (15) and the two hollow pins (13).
(11) Assemble the trigger (27) and the link (25) with the pin (26).
(12) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) on the screw (28).
(13) Engage the trigger (27) in the lever (29) and install the hollow pin (24) and the screw (28).
(14) Install the index (16) and the two screws (14).
(15) Install the index (22) and the two screws (23).
(16) Put the two control levers in the idle position (0 degree TLA) and engage the two links.
(17) If necessary, install the two new AIPC 76-11-81-02-050 BUSHING (33) on the bolts (34) and bond them with Retaining adhesive-Cylindrical fitting Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05ABF1) .
(18) Install the two bolts (34), the two washers (32) and the two nuts (31).
(19) Install the two new AIPC 76-11-01-01-010 COTTER PINS (30).
Subtask 76-11-41-080-055-A 5. Close-upWARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
(1) Connect the connector 21LFA (19) on the housing (18) and tighten the nut of the connector. (2) Install the AIPC 33-13-08-03-110 LIGHTED LABEL (86).
(3) Install the five screws (85).
(4) Install the housing (18).
(5) Install the three screws (20).
(6) Install the three screws (17).
(7) Install the lever (29).
(a) Push the lever to connect the connector located inside at the lever-to-bellcrank junction.
(8) Install the lever (12).
(a) Push the lever to connect the connector located inside at the lever-to-bellcrank junction.
(9) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) on the two screws (15).
(10) Install the two screws (15) and the two hollow pins (13).
(11) Assemble the trigger (27) and the link (25) with the pin (26).
(12) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- Medium strength - (Material No.05BAE1) on the screw (28).
(13) Engage the trigger (27) in the lever (29) and install the hollow pin (24) and the screw (28).
(14) Install the index (16) and the two screws (14).
(15) Install the index (22) and the two screws (23).
(16) Put the two control levers in the idle position (0 degree TLA) and engage the two links.
(17) If necessary, install the two new AIPC 76-11-81-02-050 BUSHING (33) on the bolts (34) and bond them with Retaining adhesive-Cylindrical fitting Medium strength Low viscosity - (Material No.05ABF1) .
(18) Install the two bolts (34), the two washers (32) and the two nuts (31).
(19) Install the two new AIPC 76-11-01-01-010 COTTER PINS (30).

A. Close Access
(1) Install the pitch trim control mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 27-41-41-400-001).
(2) Install the plates (4) and (10).
(3) Install the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(4) Install the clamps (9).
(5) Install the ventilation plates (8).
(6) Install the screws (7).
(7) Install the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(b) Install the connector (3) on the panel (1).
(c) Install the panel (1) on the structure.
(d) Fully tighten the fasteners on the panel (1).
(8) Install the Multipurpose Control and Display Units (MCDUs) (3CA1 and 3CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
(9) Install the radio management panels (1RG1 and 1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(10) Install the audio control panels (2RN1 and 2RN2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-400-001).
(11) Install the weather radar control unit (3SQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-400-001).
(12) Install the ATC control unit (3SH) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-400-001).
Subtask 76-11-41-410-061-A (1) Install the pitch trim control mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 27-41-41-400-001).
(2) Install the plates (4) and (10).
(3) Install the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(4) Install the clamps (9).
(5) Install the ventilation plates (8).

(a) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the connectors (2) and (3). (b) Install the connector (3) on the panel (1).
(c) Install the panel (1) on the structure.
(d) Fully tighten the fasteners on the panel (1).
(8) Install the Multipurpose Control and Display Units (MCDUs) (3CA1 and 3CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
(9) Install the radio management panels (1RG1 and 1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(10) Install the audio control panels (2RN1 and 2RN2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-400-001).
(11) Install the weather radar control unit (3SQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-400-001).
(12) Install the ATC control unit (3SH) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-400-001).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 811.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

E. Do an operational test of the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU:
(1) Operate the light adjustment knobs of the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(2) Make sure that the light intensity of glareshield panel 13VU, F/O glareshield panel 130VU, CAPT glareshield panel 131VU and overhead control and indicating panel 48VU changes.
Subtask 76-11-41-869-062-A Subtask 76-11-41-710-058-A (1) Operate the light adjustment knobs of the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU and FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(2) Make sure that the light intensity of glareshield panel 13VU, F/O glareshield panel 130VU, CAPT glareshield panel 131VU and overhead control and indicating panel 48VU changes.
G. Do the test that follows:
(1) Move the ENG1 and ENG2 throttle control levers from MAX REV to MAX T/O.
(a) On the upper ECAM DU, make sure that the small white circle on the N1 indication follows the throttle control lever position.
(b) Make sure that the movement is smooth, without friction point.
(2) Do an operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
Subtask 76-11-41-869-063-A Subtask 76-11-41-862-052-A (1) Move the ENG1 and ENG2 throttle control levers from MAX REV to MAX T/O.
(a) On the upper ECAM DU, make sure that the small white circle on the N1 indication follows the throttle control lever position.
(b) Make sure that the movement is smooth, without friction point.
(2) Do an operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
NOTE: If the aircraft is operated in cat 3 conditions, do the LAND CAT 3 capability test (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
