A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Removal of the MCDU
(2) Pull the MCDU (2) from its housing.
(3) Before you disconnect the electrical connectors, make sure that there is identification on them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector(s) (4).
(5) Remove the MCDU (2).
(6) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
NOTE: This procedure is applicable to each MCDU.
(1) Loosen the Dzus fasteners (1). (2) Pull the MCDU (2) from its housing.
(3) Before you disconnect the electrical connectors, make sure that there is identification on them. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector(s) (4).
(5) Remove the MCDU (2).
(6) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
