Subtask 22-82-12-420-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the MCDU
NOTE: This procedure is applicable to each MCDU.
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (4) Make sure that the electrical connector (4) is clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION: IF YOU REMOVED THE TWO MCDU'S (1 AND 2), BE CAREFUL TO CONNECT EACH CONNECTOR (3CA1A AND 3CA2A) TO THE CORRECT MCDU. THIS WILL PREVENT CROSS-CONNECTION OF THE MCDU'S.
   (5) Connect the electrical connector (4) to receptacle J1 (3). Make sure that the electrical connector (4) is connected to the correct MCDU (2).
NOTE: The MCDU (2) has two receptacles.
   (6) Make sure that the cap (5) is installed on receptacle J2. If necessary:
     (a) Install a new AIPC 22-84-08-05-060 CAP (5) on receptacle J2.
     (b) Remove and discard the small chain attached to the cap (5).
