4. Procedure
Subtask 32-31-38-420-050-A
A. Installation of the MLG Door Swivel-Joint Assembly 2763GM (2764GM)
   (1) Put the swivel joints (5) in position and install the connectors (8). Do not tighten the connectors (8) at this time.
   (2) Make sure that the swivel joint (5) alignment is parallel to the aircraft axis.
NOTE: A swivel joint that is not aligned correctly can decrease the bend radius of its related flexible hose. This can cause increased strain on the hose and possible hose damage.
   (3) Put the bracket (4), equally positioned, on the swivel joints (5).
   (4) Install the bolt (6) and the nut (3). TORQUE the nut (3) to between 1.81 and 1.58 m.daN (13.35 and 11.65 lbf.ft ) T.
   (5) Make sure that the swivel joints (5) are in the correct position and tighten the connectors (8). TORQUE the connectors (8) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
T.
   (6) Put the flexible hoses (1) in position and connect the connectors (2) to the swivel joints (5).
   (7) TORQUE the connectors (2) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
T.
   (8) Make a mark on all the connectors with a line of Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.
04SAB2) .
