Subtask 32-21-43-420-053-C
A. Installation of the Upper Harness 2M
   (1) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors before you connect them.
   (2) Apply a layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to the threads of all the nuts and bolts before you install them.
   (3) Hold the upper harness 2M (44) in position and:
     (a) Connect the electrical connector 1302VCA (55) to the receptacle 1302VC of the housing installed on the aircraft structure.
     (b) Put the clamp (52) in position on the bracket (49).
     (c) Install the washers (53), screws (54), washers (51) and nuts (50) and tighten them.
     (d) Connect the electrical connector 8LRA (30) to the taxi light 8LR (29).
     (e) Install the spacer (38), clamp (33), washer (31) and screw (32) on the bracket (37).
     (f) Install the clamp (34), washer (35) and screw (36) on the bracket (37).
     (g) Connect the electrical connector 19GAA (39) to the proximity sensor 19GA on the bracket (40).
     (h) Install the clamp (48), washer (46) and screw (47) on the bracket (45).
     (i) Install the clamp (43), washer (42) and screw (41) on the bracket (45).
     (j) Make sure that the heat shrink sleeve (58) is not damaged.
       1 If it is damaged:
2 If it is not damaged:
  • Connect the electrical connector (56) to the nose-wheel-steering servo control 6GC (57).
  • Fold the end of the heat shrink sleeve (58) back on the connector (56) to fully protect it.
     (k) Connect the electrical connector 4GCA (28) to the nose-wheel steering feedback-sensor 4GC (27).
     (l) Install the clamp (21), washer (22) and screw (23) on the bracket (24).
