A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832).

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Maintenance
Subtask 30-21-22-010-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). E. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right thrust reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the right thrust reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
CAUTION:
REMOVE AND INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE AND ADJACENT COMPONENTS.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 30-21-22-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Installation of the Nacelle Anti-Ice Core-Pressure-Transducer (4003DN)
(2) Install the transducer (1) (4003DN) on the engine bracket with the two bolts (3) and two washers (2).
(3) TORQUE the two bolts (3) to between 70 and 63 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.71 m.daN )
.
(4) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the transducer (1) and the forward transducer sense-tube.
(5) Connect the forward transducer sense-tube to the transducer (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-12-400-801).
(6) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the transducer harness connector. Make sure that the electrical connector is clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Connect the transducer harness connector (4003DN-A) to the transducer (1).
(8) Tighten the connector on the harness with PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT. Continue to tighten the connector until the PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT no longer hold the connector ring and cannot turn it. Make sure you feel the ratchet feature on the connector as you tighten it.
5. Close-upWARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
USE TEFLON-JAWED PLIERS TO LOOSEN/TIGHTEN ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. DO NOT USE METAL-JAWED PLIERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, YOU CAN TWIST THE TUBES OR HOSES OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THEM.
(1) Apply a thin layer of Never-Seez Pure Nickel Special (Material No.PU5-0003) to the threads of the two bolts (3). (2) Install the transducer (1) (4003DN) on the engine bracket with the two bolts (3) and two washers (2).
(3) TORQUE the two bolts (3) to between 70 and 63 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.71 m.daN )
. (4) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the transducer (1) and the forward transducer sense-tube.
(5) Connect the forward transducer sense-tube to the transducer (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-12-400-801).
(6) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the transducer harness connector. Make sure that the electrical connector is clean and in the correct condition.
(7) Connect the transducer harness connector (4003DN-A) to the transducer (1).
(8) Tighten the connector on the harness with PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT. Continue to tighten the connector until the PLIERS - CONNECTOR, JAW, SOFT no longer hold the connector ring and cannot turn it. Make sure you feel the ratchet feature on the connector as you tighten it.
NOTE: Lightly push the connector in and from side-to-side as you tighten it.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the right thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-802):

(3) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence
(Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-400-802).
