A. Safety Precautions
(1) Do as follows:
(a) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
1 Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
2 Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch is set to OFF position before the start of this procedure.
3 On 22VU, make sure that the DUAL COOLING control switch is set to OFF position before the start of this procedure.
4 Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the ENG/MODE selector switch, the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch and the DUAL COOLING control switch.
(b) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
1 Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
2 Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

NOTE: In the aircraft configuration defined in paragraph 4.A. above, when you open the fan cowl doors, the EIU automatically cuts the aircraft power supply to the EEC.
