C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) On the center pedestal, on the ECAM control panel, push the F/CTL key (on the lower ECAM display unit, the F/CTL page comes into view).
   (3) On the overhead panel 24VU:
  • Make sure that the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch is pushed (on this pushbutton switch, the OFF and FAULT legends are off).
   (4) Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
   (5) Obey the applicable safety precautions before you open the LGCIU circuit breakers (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
4. Procedure

A. Operational Test of the ELAC 2 STBY PWR SPLY Availability in case of loss of the Blue Hydraulic Pressure
ACTION
RESULT
1.Open the circuit breakers 1GA and 52GA.
On the lower ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 indication is green.
2.Open the circuit breaker 15CE2.
You can hear the single chime.

On the panels 130VU and 131VU:
  • The MASTER CAUT lights come on.

On the upper ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 FAULT warning comes into view.

On the lower ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 indication changes to amber.

On the overhead panel 24VU:
  • The FAULT legend of the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch comes on.
3.Open the circuit breaker 19CE1.
On the lower ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 indication changes to green.

On the upper ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 FAULT warning goes out of view.

On the overhead panel 24VU:
  • The FAULT legend of the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch goes off.

After approximately 30 seconds:
  • You can hear the single chime.
  • On the upper ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 FAULT warning comes into view.
  • On the lower ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 indication changes to amber.
  • On the overhead panel 24VU:
    .The FAULT legend of the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch is off.
4.Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
On the panels 130VU and 131VU:
  • The MASTER CAUT lights go off.

On the upper ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 FAULT warning goes out of view.

On the lower ECAM display unit, the ELAC 2 indication changes to green.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Put the aircraft back to the correct (ground) condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
   (2) Depressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
