  • PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH FULLY IN (LATCHED POSITION).
THEN CLOSE THE GUARD. DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THE GUARD AND PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH AT THE SAME TIME.

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE/CRANK/NORM/IGN/START selector switch is in the NORM position.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) toggle switch is at ON.
     (b) Make sure that the ENG MODE selector switch is set to NORM.
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) The ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches must be pushed, the OFF legend is off.
     (b) The PACK 1(2) pushbutton switch must be pushed, the OFF legend is off and the FAULT legend is on.
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) Do the ground air pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or with the HP ground supply unit (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
CAUTION: TO RESET THE ENG 1(2) APU FIRE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH:
  • PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH FULLY IN (LATCHED POSITION).
THEN CLOSE THE GUARD. DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THE GUARD AND PUSH THE PUSHBUTTON SWITCH AT THE SAME TIME.
   (1) Closing of the safety guard.
     (a) On the ENG/APU FIRE panel 1WD, close the safety guard of the ENG 1(2) FIRE pushbutton switch.
   (2) Do an operational test of the fire detection system (Ref. AMM TASK 26-12-00-710-001).
   (3) On the ENG panel 115VU, set the ENG/MASTER 1(2) toggle switch to OFF.
   (4) On the ELEC panel 35VU, release then push the GEN 1(2) pushbutton switch to reset the generator 1(2).
NOTE: On the MCDU, on the LAST LEG REPORT page, the indication CHECK FIRE HANDLE 1(2) RESET GEN 1(2) will go out of view at the subsequent flight.
   (5) Do an operational test of the hydraulic fire shut-off valves (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-710-001).

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Stop the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or stop the ground air-supply unit (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
