A. Access the Parameter Label Call-up Menu through the MCDU

On the MCDU display:
  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page shows.
  • Push the Line Select Key (LSK) adjacent to < AIDS indication.
  • The AIDS page shows.
  • Push the LSK adjacent to CALL-UP < PARAM indication.
  • The AIDS PARAM CALL-UP page shows.
  • Push the LSK adjacent to < PARAM LABEL CALL-UP indication.
  • The AIDS PAR LAB CALL-UP page shows.
  • Enter the Parameter Label Call-up with the alphanumeric keys in the format as follows: EQ/SYS/LAB/SDI and optional /DATABITS (Ref. AMM D/O 31-37-00-00).
  • The Parameter Label Call-up shows on the bottom of the display (scratchpad).


NOTE: The EQ identifier can have 3 characters or only 2 characters, because there are different software versions.
NOTE: It is important to enter the DATABITS value if it is other than the default. The decimal value calculation is based on its value.

  • Push the LSK 1L or 4L to take over the Parameter Label Call-up.
  • The Parameter Label call-up shows on the Data Field with all information.

NOTE: Two Label Call-up parameters can be displayed at one time.

  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page shows.

B. Access the Alpha Call-up Menu through the MCDU

  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
  • Push the Line Select Key (LSK) adjacent to the < AIDS indication.
  • The AIDS page comes into view.
  • Push the LSK adjacent to the CALL-UP < PARAM indication.
  • The AIDS PARAM CALL-UP page comes into view.
  • Push the LSK adjacent to the < PARAM ALPHA CALL-UP indication.
  • The AIDS ALPHA CALL-UP page comes into view.
  • The Parameter Alpha Call-up shows on the bottom of the display (scratchpad).
  • Push the LSK 2L, 3L, 4L or 5L Key to take over the Parameter Alpha Call-up.
  • The Parameter Alpha Call-up shows on the Data Field with all information.
  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
