Weighing and Balancing

TASK 08-10-00-200-001-A
Weighing and Balancing

1. Reason for the Job
This procedure gives data to find the operating empty weight of the aircraft and to calculate the center of gravity.
NOTE: To get accurate results, we recommend that you weigh the aircraft on a level area in a hangar with:
  • The hangar doors and windows closed
  • The hangar heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems stopped.
This is because wind and air flows prevent accurate results.
