Lowering of the Aircraft on Landing Gear Jacks
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE AIRCRAFT IS STABLE:
- BEFORE YOU PUT IT ON JACKS
- DURING ALL THE TIME IT STAYS ON JACKS.
CAUTION:
YOU MUST PUT THE HYDRAULIC JACK IN POSITION FROM BEHIND THE LANDING GEAR TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE SENSORS OF THE WEIGHT-AND-BALANCE SYSTEM.
CAUTION:
BEFORE YOU LIFT OR YOU LOWER THE AIRCRAFT, MAKE SURE THAT: - THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT ADJACENT TO IT THAT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE - NO OTHER WORK IS IN PROGRESS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CAN OCCUR.

A. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the correct condition for lowering.
(2) Make sure that the aircraft is stable (Ref. AMM TASK 05-57-00-200-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) On the panel 110VU:
Set the PARKING BRK control switch to OFF.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the correct condition for lowering.
(2) Make sure that the aircraft is stable (Ref. AMM TASK 05-57-00-200-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) On the panel 110VU:
Set the PARKING BRK control switch to OFF.

A. Lowering
(1) Slowly operate all the JACK - ADJUSTABLE at the same time to lower smoothly the aircraft on its wheels.
5. Close-up(1) Slowly operate all the JACK - ADJUSTABLE at the same time to lower smoothly the aircraft on its wheels.
NOTE: It is important not to lower the aircraft on its wheels suddenly.

A. Removal of tools
(1) When the aircraft is on its wheels, remove the hydraulic jacks.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
