(6) To defuel the ACT(s) until it (they) is (are) empty, do the steps that follow:(a) Before you do this procedure, make sure that the center tank has sufficient space for the fuel from the ACT(s):
1 If necessary, defuel the center tank again, or continuously defuel the center tank while the fuel flows from the ACT(s).
(b) On ACT control panel 28VU, push the ACT XFR MODE SEL pushbutton switch:
1 Make sure that the MAN legend comes on.
(c) Set the adjacent selector-switch to the applicable ACT.
NOTE: The ACT transfer pump will stop if the center tank high-level-sensor becomes wet and continues when it becomes dry.
(d) Turn the selector switch to the subsequent ACT (if installed) with fuel when the selected ACT is empty:1 On ACT control panel 28VU, the ACT XFR MODE SEL FAULT legend comes on when the selected ACT is empty.
NOTE: The ACT fuel-transfer sequence is ACT FWD (if installed), ACT AFT2 (if installed) and ACT AFT1.
(e) If necessary, drain the remaining fuel from the ACT(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-005).Subtask 28-25-00-860-093-A
