Subtask 07-11-00-586-051-A
(2) Loosen the jack locknuts by 100 mm (3.9370 in.).
(3) Operate the controls of the 3 jacks at the same time to lower the aircraft.
(4) Stop before the locknuts touch the jack collar.
(5) Do steps (2) and (3) again until there is a clearance between the wing jack pads and the jacks.
(6) Put the CHOCK - WHEEL(S) in front of the FWD wheels and behind the aft wheels of the MLG (Ref. AMM TASK 10-11-00-555-015).
(7) Fully loosen the locknuts on the wing jacks.
(8) Quickly retract the threaded rods of the wing jacks.
(9) Remove the wing jacks.
(10) Continue to lower the aircraft at the nose jack until there is a clearance between the jack pad and the jack.
(11) Remove the nose jack.

CAUTION:
OBEY THE PROCEDURE THAT FOLLOWS WHEN YOU LOWER THE AIRCRAFT ONTO ITS WHEELS. SUDDEN COMPRESSION OF THE SHOCK ABSORBERS CAN OCCUR AND JACK HEADS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WING STRUCTURE.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Before the lowering operation, identify a safety area.
(3) In the cockpit, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is set to down.
(4) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(5) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).

NOTE: Local safety regulations can contain additional rules and information applicable to safety areas.
(2) Make sure that there are no persons is in the aircraft. (3) In the cockpit, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is set to down.

(5) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).

D. Preparation before Lowering
(1) Make sure that the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exits and cargo doors are closed and locked or fully open and locked.
(2) Remove the JACK - SAFETY STAY between FR73 and FR74.

WARNING:
WHEN YOU LIFT OR LOWER THE AIRCRAFT, ALWAYS KEEP IT IN A LEVEL ATTITUDE. INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CAN OCCUR.
A. Lowering of the aircraft NOTE: When the aircraft is up on two-piston jacks, to lower it on its wheels, do the steps that follow:
(1) Extend the jack rams by 10 mm (0.3937 in.) to release the locknuts. - Unlock the back-nut of the small screw and lower the jack down to the stop.
- Apply light pressure, unlock the large back-nut and lower the large screw.
(2) Loosen the jack locknuts by 100 mm (3.9370 in.).
(3) Operate the controls of the 3 jacks at the same time to lower the aircraft.
(4) Stop before the locknuts touch the jack collar.
(5) Do steps (2) and (3) again until there is a clearance between the wing jack pads and the jacks.
(6) Put the CHOCK - WHEEL(S) in front of the FWD wheels and behind the aft wheels of the MLG (Ref. AMM TASK 10-11-00-555-015).
(7) Fully loosen the locknuts on the wing jacks.
(8) Quickly retract the threaded rods of the wing jacks.
(9) Remove the wing jacks.
(10) Continue to lower the aircraft at the nose jack until there is a clearance between the jack pad and the jack.
(11) Remove the nose jack.

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position under each wing at RIB9.
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position between FR73 and FR74.

(3) Remove the 98D07103500000 JACK ADAPTER-FUSELAGE (1) from FR8.
(4) On the wing, install the plugs into the holes.

(4) On the wing, install the plugs into the holes.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On panel 110VU:

- Set the parking-brake control switch to ON.
- Make sure that the pressure indication on the Yellow brake-pressure triple-indicator is correct.
- If necessary, pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- With the electric pump (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001) or
- With the ground power supply (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the aircraft in the ground configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
Subtask 07-11-00-410-051-A (1) Put the aircraft in the ground configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
F. Close Access
(1) Close the access door 311AL.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
