A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
(2) On the ENG section of overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC GND PWR 1(2).
(3) Make sure that you obeyed the instructions of the fuel safety procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 28-00-00-910-001).
Subtask 54-51-17-010-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).

(2) Make sure that the pylon-to-wing access panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 471CL 475BL 472BR and 476BR
(b) For the right pylon: 481BL 485BL 482CR and 486BR.

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:

(2) Make sure that the pylon-to-wing access panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
(a) For the left pylon: 471DL 471CR 475BL and 475BR

(1) Clean the parts from the removed components with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Before installation, make sure that:
(a) The lockwashers (35) and (42) and the nuts (36) and (41) at RIB10 are in the correct condition.

- If necessary, replace the AIPC 54-51-17-01-220 LOCKWASHERS (35), the AIPC 54-51-17-01-150 LOCKWASHER (42), the AIPC 54-51-17-01-210 NUTS (36) and the AIPC 54-51-17-01-140 NUT (41) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-17-000-003) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-17-400-003).
B. Installation of the Pylon-to-Wing Aft Attach-Fitting

(1) Put the shackles (34) in position.
(2) Apply Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) to the sleeves, the spigot and all the friction surfaces.
(3) Install the sleeves (32).
(4) To easily install the sleeves, change the force that the jack applies to the attach fitting.
(5) Install the AIPC 54-51-17-01-220 LOCKWASHERS (35).
(6) Install the nuts (36)
(7) Lock the sleeves (32) with the 98D54503000000 PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH.
(8) Use the 98D54503000000 PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH and a torque wrench to:
(a) TORQUE the nuts (36) to between 12 and 1 m.daN (1061.95 and 88.50 lbf.in )

(9) Safety the nuts (36) with the lockwashers (35).
(10) Install the bolts (33).
(11) Lock the bolts (33) with the 98D54503000000 PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH.
(12) Install the nuts (37) with the 98D54503000000 PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH.
(13) TORQUE the nuts (37) to between 12 and 1 m.daN (1061.95 and 88.50 lbf.in )

C. Removal of the Dynamometric Adaptor and Jack below the Attach Fitting
(1) Remove the force applied to the jack.
(2) Remove the 98A54403024003 ADAPTOR-DYNAMOMETRIC AT RIB 1.
(3) Remove the jack.
