Subtask 54-53-11-869-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
   (2) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position:
     (a) For the left pylon, in zone 470
     (b) For the right pylon, in zone 480.

B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

B. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER IS LOCKED. IF NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE REVERSER.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).
4. Procedure
Subtask 54-53-11-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SEALS OF THE ACCESS PANELS ARE IN THE CORRECT POSITION BELOW THE WING LOWER SURFACE. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SEALS IF THEY ARE NOT IN THE CORRECT POSITION.
A. Installation of the Pylon-to-Wing Access Panels
F Pylon-to-Wing Access Panels ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all the panels:
   (1) Put the pylon-to-wing access panel (1) in position.
   (2) Make sure that the applicable seal is correctly installed in the pylon-to-wing access panel groove.
   (3) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3) and tighten them.
   (4) When you install the screws (3), do the electrical bonding at the applicable location (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
NOTE: For the electrical bonding location, refer to the related figure.

   (1) Put the pylon-to-wing access panel (1) in position.
