A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) If necessary, remove the passenger seats (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(2) If necessary, remove the seat-to-seat cables (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-61-000-001).
(3) If necessary, remove the galleys, the lavatories and/or the stowages. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:

For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-30-00-00)
For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-40-00-00)
For the stowages (Ref. AMM D/O 25-70-00-00).

(4) If necessary, remove the cabin attendant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-42-000-001) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-22-43-000-001).
(5) If necessary, remove the partitions (Ref. AMM TASK 25-26-42-000-001).
(6) If necessary, remove the textile floor covering (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-41-000-001).
(7) If necessary, remove the non-textile floor covering (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-42-000-001).
(8) If necessary, remove the moisture barrier foil (MYLAR) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-43-000-001).
(9) If necessary, remove the doghouse (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-46-000-001).
(10) If necessary, remove the Wall Disconnect Box (WDB) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-47-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-00-00-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

CAUTION: WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SCREWS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU RECORD THE CORRECT POSITION OF EACH OF THEM. THE SCREWS HAVE DIFFERENT LENGTHS.

A. Removal of the Floor Panels

Typical Floor Panel Installation - Wet Sealant and Dry Sealant - FR12 thru FR70 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

NOTE: This procedure is applicable for the removal of floor panels (16), (18) and (21) with different types of sealant (22) and tapes (14) and (19).

(1) Remove the angles (1) and (8) from the lower corner at left/right door 1 as follows:
(a) Hold the angle (1) that is attached to the structure.
(b) Remove the screw (6) and the washer (7).
(c) Remove the screws (3) and (5) and the washers (2) and (4).
(d) Remove the angle (1) from the structure.
(e) Hold the angle (8) that is attached to the structure.
(f) Remove the screw (5) and the washer (4).
(g) Remove the screws (3) and (6) and the washers (2) and (7).
(h) Remove the angle (8) from the structure.
(i) Hold the cover strip (11) that is attached to the structure.
(j) Remove the screws (9) and (10).
(k) Remove the cover strip (11) from the structure.
(2) Remove the cabin floor panels (18) (dry sealant):
(a) Remove the adhesive tape (17) from the floor panels (18).
(b) Remove the screws (12) from the floor panels (18).
(c) Remove the floor panels (18).
(d) Put an identification label on each floor panel (18) to make the installation procedure easier.
(e) Remove the damaged adhesive tapes (14) and (19).
(f) Make sure that the clip nuts (15) are installed on the structure.
(3) Remove the cabin floor panels (16) and (21) (wet sealant):
(a) Find the end of the cord (13).
(b) Pull the cord (13) up, to remove the sealant (22) from between the floor panel joints.
(c) Remove the screws (12).
(d) Remove the floor panels (16).
(e) Put an identification label on each floor panel (16) to make the installation procedure easier.
(f) If you remove the floor panel (16) adjacent to the door-threshold floor panel (21), do the steps that follow:
1 Find the end of the cord (13).
2 Pull the cord (13) up, to remove the sealant (22) from between the floor panels joints.
3 Remove the screws (12) from the door-threshold floor panel (21).
4 Remove the inner cover-plates (20).
(g) If necessary, remove the heated floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-51-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-51-000-002).
(h) Remove the damaged adhesive tapes (14) and (19).
(i) Make sure that the clip nuts (15) are installed on the structure.

A. Removal of the Floor Panels

NOTE: This procedure is applicable to the removal of the floor panels (16), (18) and (21) with different types of sealant (22) and tapes (14) and (19).

(1) Remove the angles (1) and (8) from the lower corner at door 1, left or right side, as follows:
(a) Hold the angle (1) that is attached to the structure.
(b) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (7).
(c) Remove the screws (3) and (5) and the washers (2) and (4).
(d) Remove the angle (1) from the structure.
(e) Hold the angle (8) that is attached to the structure.
(f) Remove the screw (5) and the washer (4).
(g) Remove the screws (3) and (6) and the washers (2) and (7).
(h) Remove the angle (8) from the structure.
(i) Hold the cover strip (11) that is attached to the structure.
(j) Remove the screws (9) and (10).
(k) Remove the cover strip (11) from the structure.

(2) Remove the floor panels (18) (dry sealant):
(a) Remove the adhesive tape (17) from the floor panels (18).
(b) Remove the screws (12) from the floor panels (18).
(c) Remove the floor panels (18).
(d) Put an identification label on each floor panel (18) to make the installation procedure easier.
(e) Remove the damaged adhesive tape (19).
(f) Make sure that the clip nuts (15) are installed on the structure.

(3) Remove the floor panels (16) and (21) (wet sealant):
(a) Remove the floor panels (16):
1 Remove the adhesive tape (17) from the floor panels (16).
2 Find the ends of the cords (13).
3 Pull the cords (13) up to remove the sealant (22) from the floor panel joints.
4 Remove the screws (12) from the floor panels (16).
5 Remove the floor panels (16).
6 Put an identification label on each floor panel (16) to make the installation procedure easier.
7 Remove the damaged adhesive tape (14) from the floor panels (16).
(b) Remove the door-threshold floor panels (21):
1 Find the end of the cords (13).
2 Pull the cords (13) up to remove the sealant (22) from the floor panel joints.
3 Remove the screws (12) from the door-threshold floor panels (21).
4 Remove the door-threshold floor panels (21).
5 Remove the damaged adhesive tape (14) from the door-threshold floor panels (21).
(c) If necessary, remove the heated floor panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-51-000-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-27-51-000-002).
(d) Make sure that the clip nuts (15) are installed on the structure.
