A. Removal of the Seat Assembly
(1) Get and pull the end of the synthetic cord to loosen the sealant between the seat assembly and the cabin floor.
(2) Open the access flap (9).
(3) Remove all of the equipment from the stowage compartment of the swivel seat.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (2), if necessary.
(5) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(6) Hold the seat assembly (1) and remove the bolts (3) and (6), the washers (4) and the spacers (5).
(7) Remove the seat assembly (1).
(8) Remove and discard the packings (7).
(9) If necessary, remove the bushes (8).
(10) Remove the old sealant from the floor with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
Subtask 25-22-43-020-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Get and pull the end of the synthetic cord to loosen the sealant between the seat assembly and the cabin floor.
(2) Open the access flap (9).
(3) Remove all of the equipment from the stowage compartment of the swivel seat.
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (2), if necessary.
(5) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(6) Hold the seat assembly (1) and remove the bolts (3) and (6), the washers (4) and the spacers (5).
(7) Remove the seat assembly (1).
(8) Remove and discard the packings (7).
(9) If necessary, remove the bushes (8).
(10) Remove the old sealant from the floor with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
A. Removal of the Seat Assembly
(1) Open the access door (1).
(2) Remove all of the equipment from the stowage compartment of the swivel seat.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connection:
(a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the cover (7).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (8).
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(4) Remove the seat assembly:
(a) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(b) Close the access door (1) and carefully remove the seat assembly (2).
(5) If necessary remove the seals:
(b) If necessary, remove the bushes (10) and the seals (11).
(1) Open the access door (1).
(2) Remove all of the equipment from the stowage compartment of the swivel seat.
(3) Disconnect the electrical connection:
(a) Release the VELCRO strips and remove the cover (7).
(b) Disconnect the electrical connector (8).
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(4) Remove the seat assembly:
(a) Remove the bolts (5) and the washers (4).
(b) Close the access door (1) and carefully remove the seat assembly (2).
(5) If necessary remove the seals:
NOTE: We recommend that you not remove the seal assemblies if you remove the seat for a short time.
If you remove the seal assemblies, a new GOODRICH Hard Point Installation-Kit is necessary for the installation procedure.
(a) Carefully release the seals (9) from the floor with a WEDGE - WOODEN and remove the seal carriers (6). If you remove the seal assemblies, a new GOODRICH Hard Point Installation-Kit is necessary for the installation procedure.
(b) If necessary, remove the bushes (10) and the seals (11).
