A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position adjacent to the emergency exit.
(2) Open the emergency exit door from the outside (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) FOR [5DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA), [6DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA)
(a) Remove the door frame linings 231GX 231KX (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) or 232GX 232KX (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009) as required.
(4) FOR [15DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA), [16DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA)
(a) Remove the floor panel 251DG or 252DG as required (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-000-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 25-27-51-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the heated floor panel 5DS (6DS), 15DS (16DS)

Heated Floor Panel 5DS (6DS), 15DS (16DS) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the inner cover plate screws (1).
(2) Remove the inner cover plate (13).
(3) Pull the cord (10) up to remove the sealant from between the heated floor panel (4) and the floor.
(4) Remove the sealant from around the outer cover plate (3) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5) Remove the outer cover plate screws (1) and (2).
(6) Remove the outer cover plate (3).
(7) FOR [5DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA), [6DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA)
(a) Carefully lift up and support the heated floor panel (4) to get access to the electrical connections installed on the floor structure below the heated floor panel.
(8) FOR [15DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA), [16DS] (FLOOR PANEL-HEAT.,DOOR AREA)
(a) Get access to the electrical connections installed on the floor structure below the heated floor panel through the removed floor panels 251DG or 252DG.
(9) Remove the bolt (7), the washer (6) and the bonding strap (5).
(10) Disconnect the electrical connector (8).
(11) Remove the heated floor panel (4).
(12) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

Subtask 25-27-51-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Heated Floor Panel 15DS and 16DS

Heated Floor Panel 15DS (16DS) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the screws (1) and the plate (9).
(2) Pull the cord (7) and remove the sealant (8).
(3) Remove the sealant from the plate (4) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(4) Remove the screws (1) and (3) and the plate (4).
(5) Get access to the electrical connections installed on the floor structure below the heated floor panel through the removed floor panels.
(6) Disconnect the electrical connector (13).
(7) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).

(8) Remove the screw (12), the washer (11) and the bonding strap (10).
(9) Remove the heated floor panel (5).
