B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

G. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
Subtask 36-11-44-010-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Deactivate the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012). H. Open the thrust reverser halves (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):

A. Visual Inspection of the Bleed-Air Precooler-Exchanger Inlet
(1) Clean dirty parts with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Naphta based and Alcohol - (Material No.08BBC1) .
(2) With a LIGHT SOURCE - WHITE and MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE, examine the bleed-air precooler-exchanger inlet (referred as inlet) for cracks.
(3) If you find a crack, you must replace the inlet (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-44-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-44-400-001).
Subtask 36-11-44-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean dirty parts with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Naphta based and Alcohol - (Material No.08BBC1) .
(2) With a LIGHT SOURCE - WHITE and MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE, examine the bleed-air precooler-exchanger inlet (referred as inlet) for cracks.
(3) If you find a crack, you must replace the inlet (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-44-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-44-400-001).
NOTE: If you find that only the handles of the precooler are broken, it is not necessary to replace the precooler.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
