D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) Push the ENG 1 and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches (the OFF legends go off).
     (b) Push the PACK 1 and 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF legends go off).
     (c) Set the crossbleed selector switch to the AUTO position.
     (d) Release the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
     (e) Release the RAM AIR pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
   (3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel, on the ANTI ICE section of panel 25VU:
     (a) Release the ENG 1 and ENG 2 pushbutton switches (the ON legends go off).
     (b) Release the WING pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
   (4) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
NOTE: After the APU starts, Airbus recommends you to wait for a minimum of 3 minutes for the warm-up period, before you select the APU BLEED.
   (5) Start engines 1 and 2 and keep them at idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:

A. Operational Test of the Bleed Air System at Idle
Action
Result
1.On the ECAM control panel, push the BLEED key.
On the SD, the BLEED page comes into view.
2.On AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend comes on).
On the SD, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the bleed valves of engines 1 and 2 are closed (horizontal green line).
  • Make sure that the High Pressure Valve (HPV) of engines 1 and 2 are closed (vertical green line).
  • Make sure that the APU bleed valve is open (vertical green line).
3.On AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Release the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).
On the SD, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the bleed valves of engines 1 and 2 are open (vertical green line).
  • Make sure that the High Pressure Valve (HPV) of engines 1 and 2 are open (horizontal green line).
  • Make sure that the APU bleed valve is closed (horizontal green line).
  • Make sure that the engine 1(2) pressure is between 17 psi (1.17 bar) and 39 psi (2.69 bar).
  • Make sure that the engine 1(2) temperature is between 120 DEG.C (248 DEG.F) and 205 DEG.C (401 DEG.F).
4.On AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Set the crossbleed selector switch to the OPEN position.
On the SD, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the crossbleed valve is open (horizontal green line).
5.On AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Set the crossbleed selector switch to the SHUT position.
On the SD, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the crossbleed valve is closed (vertical green line).
6.On AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Set the crossbleed selector switch to the AUTO position.
On the SD, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the crossbleed valve is closed (vertical green line).
5. Close-up
Subtask 36-11-00-860-271-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Stop engines 1 and 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
   (2) Stop the APU:
   (3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (4) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 36-11-00-860-271-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Stop engines 1 and 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018).
   (2) Stop the APU:
   (3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (4) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 36-11-00-860-271-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Stop engines 1 and 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
   (2) Stop the APU:
   (3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (4) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
