A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3) Make sure that the flight configuration precautions were obeyed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-31-32-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

- On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(5) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the interface of the manifold assembly (6) and the aircraft structure.
4. Procedure(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).

Subtask 32-31-32-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Manifold Assembly (2828GM)
(1) Put the manifold assembly (6) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (5) and the bolts (4).
(2) Install the washer (2), the bonding strap (3) and the bolt (1).
(3) TORQUE the bolts (1) and (4) to between 0.99 and 0.81 m.daN (87.61 and 71.68 lbf.in )

(4) Mark the bolts (1) and (4) with a line with Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) .
(5) Protect the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Remove the blanking plugs from the hydraulic pipes (15), (14), (13), (12), (8), (10), (11), (9) and (7).
(7) Connect the pipes (7), (8), (10) and (11) and TORQUE them to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

(8) Connect the pipe (9) and TORQUE to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
.
(9) Connect the pipes (13) and (14) and TORQUE to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
.
(10) Connect the pipes (12) and (15) and TORQUE to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
.
(11) Mark the pipe connectors with a line with Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) .
(12) Install the check valve 2537GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-47-400-001).
(13) Install the L/G door selector valve 41GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-34-400-001).
(14) Install the L/G selector valve 40GA (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-12-400-001).
Subtask 32-31-32-865-052-A (1) Put the manifold assembly (6) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (5) and the bolts (4).
(2) Install the washer (2), the bonding strap (3) and the bolt (1).

C. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(7) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
Subtask 32-31-32-720-050-A (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(7) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
D. Do the Test
(1) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).
(2) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly (6). Leaks are not permitted.
5. Close-up(1) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).
(2) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly (6). Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 32-31-32-410-051-A
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the bolt heads, pipe connections and adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the bolt heads, pipe connections and adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Manifold Assembly
