A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Install the ground safety locks on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On right center instrument-panel 400VU:

- Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever is in the DOWN position,
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Get Access
(1) Open the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001)
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) adjacent to the applicable NLG.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) adjacent to the applicable NLG.
Subtask 32-21-00-210-075-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection of the NLG Leg Harnesses
(1) Clean the NLG Leg Harnesses and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) If necessary, use a MIRROR - INSPECTION to do the inspection.
(3) If installed, examine the braid strands of the intermediate electrical harness and look for:
(a) If you find conduit deformation, do the tests that follow to make sure that the NLG leg harnesses are fully serviceable:
1 Do the operational test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-710-001).
2 If installed, do the operational test of the Tire Pressure Indicating System (TPIS) (Ref. AMM D/O 32-49-00-71).
(b) If the damage is more than the limits, refer to the applicable CMM for repair procedures.
(c) If necessary, replace the harness (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-000-004).
(4) Examine the braid strands of the electrical harness 1M and look for:
(a) If you find conduit deformation, do the tests that follow to make sure that the NLG leg harnesses are fully serviceable:
1 Do the operational test of the taxi and take off lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-46-00-710-001).
2 Do the operational test of the runway turnoff lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-00-710-001).
3 Do the operational test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-710-001).
4 Do the BITE test of the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-740-001).
5 If installed, do the operational test of the TPIS (Ref. AMM D/O 32-49-00-71).
(b) If the damage is more than the limits, refer to the applicable CMM for repair procedures.
(c) If necessary, replace the harness (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-400-002).
(5) Examine the braid strands of the electrical harness 2M and look for:
(a) If you find conduit deformation, do the tests that follow to make sure that the NLG leg harnesses are fully serviceable:
1 Do the operational test of the taxi and take off lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-46-00-710-001).
2 Do the operational test of the runway turnoff lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-00-710-001).
3 Do the operational test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-710-001).
4 Do the BITE test of the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-740-001).
5 Do the functional test of the nose wheel steering deactivation electrical box (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-005).
(b) If the damage is more than the limits, refer to the applicable CMM for repair procedures.
(c) If necessary, replace the harness (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-400-003).
(6) If installed, examine the braid strands of the lower electrical harness and look for:
(a) If you find conduit deformation, do the tests that follow to make sure that the NLG leg harnesses are fully serviceable:
1 Do the operational test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-710-001).
2 If installed, do the operational test of the TPIS (Ref. AMM D/O 32-49-00-71).
(b) If the damage is more than the limits, refer to the applicable CMM for repair procedures.
(c) If necessary, replace the harness (Ref. AMM TASK 32-21-43-000-001).

(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close the applicable NLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(3) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
