A. Safety Precautions(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002)
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4) Make sure that the safety device is on the applicable MLG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
Subtask 32-12-00-869-061-A WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002). (2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

(1) Do the precautions for flight configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001) before you open the LGCIU circuit breakers.

A. Removal of the MLG Fixed Fairing Assembly and Attaching Parts
(2) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the fixed fairing assembly from the MLG.
(3) Remove and discard the cotter pin (6) from the nut (5).
(4) Remove the nut (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3). Remove and retain the bonding strap (2) from the bracket (1).
(5) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(6) Safety the nut (5) with a new AIPC 32-11-11-80-090 COTTER PIN (6).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the head of the bolt (3) and the nut (5).
(8) Remove and discard the14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -
(9) Remove the bolt (10), the washer (11) and the bonding strap (9) from the bracket (7). Retain the bonding strap (9).
(10) Install the washer (11) and the bolt (10).
(11) TORQUE the bolt (10) to between 1.808 and 0.904 m.daN (160.00 and 80.00 lbf.in )

(12) Safety the bolts (8) and (10) with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -

USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
(1) Remove the applicable fixed fairing assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-000-001). (2) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the fixed fairing assembly from the MLG.
(3) Remove and discard the cotter pin (6) from the nut (5).
(4) Remove the nut (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3). Remove and retain the bonding strap (2) from the bracket (1).
(5) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(6) Safety the nut (5) with a new AIPC 32-11-11-80-090 COTTER PIN (6).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the head of the bolt (3) and the nut (5).
(8) Remove and discard the

(2) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the fixed fairing assembly from the MLG.
(3) Remove and discard the cotter pin (6) from the nut (5).
(4) Remove the nut (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3). Remove and retain the bonding strap (2) from the bracket (1).
(5) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Hydraulic (Material No.06LDG6) to the shank and the threads of the bolt (3).
(6) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(7) TORQUE the nut (5) to between 1.8 and 0.9 m.daN (159.29 and 79.65 lbf.in ).
(8) Safety the nut (5) with a new AIPC 32-11-11-80-090 COTTER PIN (6) or AIPC 32-11-85-80-090 COTTER PIN (6).
(9) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay Landing Gear (Material No.06AAC5) to the nut (5), the washer (4) and the head of the bolt (3).
(10) Remove and discard the14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -
(11) Remove the bolt (10), the washer (11) and the bonding strap (9) from the bracket (7). Retain the bonding strap (9).
(12) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Hydraulic (Material No.06LDG6) to the shank and the threads of the bolt (10).
(13) Install the washer (11) and the bolt (10).
(14) TORQUE the bolt (10) to between 2.9 and 2.7 m.daN (21.39 and 19.91 lbf.ft ).
(15) Safety the bolts (8) and (10) with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -
(16) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay Landing Gear (Material No.06AAC5) to:

(4) Remove the nut (5), the washer (4) and the bolt (3). Remove and keep the bonding strap (2) from the bracket (1).
(5) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Hydraulic (Material No.06LDG6) to the shank and the threads of the bolt (3).
(6) Install the bolt (3), the washer (4) and the nut (5).
(7) TORQUE the nut (5) to between 1.8 and 0.9 m.daN (159.29 and 79.65 lbf.in )
. (8) Safety the nut (5) with a new AIPC 32-11-11-80-090 COTTER PIN (6) or AIPC 32-11-85-80-090 COTTER PIN (6).

B. Removal of the Secondary Hinged Fairing and Attaching Parts
(2) Remove the secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
(3) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the secondary hinged fairing from the MLG.
(4) Remove the secondary-hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-000-001).
(5) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the secondary-hinged-fairing attachment from the MLG.
(6) Identify the position of the hinged fairing mounting plate (22) before you remove it.
(7) Remove and discard the cotter pin (25) from the nut (24).
(8) Remove and retain the nut (24) and the washer (26).
(9) Remove and retain the nuts (21), the bolts (23), the hinged fairing mounting plate (22), the shim (27) and the packer (28).
(10) Remove and retain the bolt (38), the washer (37), the bonding strap (39) and the nut (30) from the transfer block (35).
(11) Remove and retain the bolt (33), the washer (32), the pin (31), the spacer (34) and the threaded insert (36) from the transfer block (35).
(12) Remove and retain the actuating rod (29) from the transfer block (35).
(13) Install the MLG fixed fairing assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-400-001).
Subtask 32-12-00-865-069-A CAUTION:
DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
(1) Remove the MLG fixed fairing assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-000-001). (2) Remove the secondary hinged fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-13-000-001).
(3) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the secondary hinged fairing from the MLG.
(4) Remove the secondary-hinged-fairing attachment (Ref. AMM TASK 57-26-21-000-001).
(5) Remove and retain all attaching nuts and bolts for the secondary-hinged-fairing attachment from the MLG.
(6) Identify the position of the hinged fairing mounting plate (22) before you remove it.
(7) Remove and discard the cotter pin (25) from the nut (24).
(8) Remove and retain the nut (24) and the washer (26).
(9) Remove and retain the nuts (21), the bolts (23), the hinged fairing mounting plate (22), the shim (27) and the packer (28).
(10) Remove and retain the bolt (38), the washer (37), the bonding strap (39) and the nut (30) from the transfer block (35).
(11) Remove and retain the bolt (33), the washer (32), the pin (31), the spacer (34) and the threaded insert (36) from the transfer block (35).
(12) Remove and retain the actuating rod (29) from the transfer block (35).
(13) Install the MLG fixed fairing assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-14-400-001).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the aircraft back to ground configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
