Procedure for FDIMU Software loading with PDL for ADC/ FOMAX
NOTE: The CARD2 capacity must be no more than 2GB.
NOTE: It is not permitted to format CARD2 when the stored ACMS data is being retrieved.
NOTE: It is no permitted to change the content of CARD2. If any modification occurs, the CARD2 must be formatted according to the procedure described in this task.
NOTE: The full data-loading sequence must be done if a different card than CARD2 is inserted in the FDIMU.
NOTE: The CARD2 must be prepared according to the AGS allocation. The allocation defined in the ADC Configuration File B will be discarded.
NOTE: If you insert the unprepared CARD2 after data loading of software 10TVSW9, the CARD2 will be rejected by the FDIMU (PCMCIA led will be red).
NOTE: You can also load the FDIMU software with PCMCIA cards (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-710-805).

(2) Do a printout of the engine and APU hours and cycles (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-015).
NOTE: The software load can erase the data of the engine and APU hours and cycles in the FDIMU. The printout gives a hard copy of this data. If necessary, refer to the printout to correct the engine and APU hours and cycles later.
All modifications done before through MCDU programming menu can be lost after the software loading. Reports counters are also set to their initial condition.
(3) Make sure that the cards with the 10TVSW2, 10TVSW8 and 10TVSW9 software are in writeprotected status (writeprotection ON).All modifications done before through MCDU programming menu can be lost after the software loading. Reports counters are also set to their initial condition.

NOTE: If the PDL has the digital signature check, the PDL can trigger two messages:
- When the software has no signature (refer to the PDL user guide), this message has no effect on the A/C software upload and you can ignore it.
- When the signature is incorrect or corrupted (refer to the PDL user guide), the software upload is not possible and it is necessary to use other software.
