A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the aircraft is in Ground configuration (Landing Gear compressed and all Engines stopped).
(3) On the Overhead Panel 50VU push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 button (the white light indicator ON comes on).
(4) On the Overhead Panel 50VU push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 2 button (the white light indicator ON comes on).

Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to AIDS indication.	The AIDS page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to PROGRAMMING indication.	The AIDS DMU PROGRAMMING page comes into view.
Enter the level 2 password with alphanumeric keys into the scratchpad.	An asterix for each entered character shows on the scratchpad.
Push the line key adjacent to ENTER PASSWORD indication.	The color of ENTER PASSWORD indication changes from blue into white and the asterix goes out of view.
Push the line key adjacent to PROGRAMMING MENUS indication.	The AIDS DMU PROGRAMMING page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to STATISTIC COUNTERS indication.	The AIDS STATISTIC COUNTERS page comes into view.
Enter the values for Engine 1 hours and Engine 1 cycles separated with a dash (e.g 00231/04389) with the alphanumeric keys into the scratchpad.	The entered numbers show on the scratchpad.
Push the line key adjacent to the numbers and asterix below the EHRS1 ECYC1 indication.	The new values takes over below the EHRS1 ECYC1 indication (2R).
Enter the values for Engine 2 hours and Engine 2 cycles separated with a dash (e.g 00231/04389) with the alphanumeric keys into the scratchpad.	The entered numbers show on the scratchpad.
Push the line key adjacent to the numbers and asterix below the EHRS2 ECYC2 indication (3R).	The new values takes over below the EHRS2 ECYC2 indication.
Push the line key adjacent to RETURN indication 3 times.	The AIDS page comes into view.
Push the MCDU mode key.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.

(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
