- If STBY pitot heater system is operative, do the checks in steps W thru AF.

(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the right-center instrument panel 400VU:

Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the ECAM control panel: Push the CLR key many times until the indications related to the ANTI ICE system come into view.	On the upper ECAM DU: The ANTI ICE CAPT TAT ANTI ICE F/O TAT messages come into view.
2.On the ECAM control panel: If no ANTI ICE message comes into view on the upper ECAM after you push the CLR key many times, push the STS key to show the indications related to the ANTI ICE system.	On the lower ECAM DU, on the right of the display: The CAPT TAT F/O TAT messages come into view.
3.On the MCDU: Push the line key adjacent to the COMPRESSED indication.	On the MCDU: The '<' symbol goes out of view (aircraft on the ground).
	On glareshield panels 130VU and 131VU: The MASTER WARN lights go off.
	The continuous repetitive chime stops.
4.On the MCDU: Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
5.Push the MCDU MENU key.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
6.Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).

(2) Make an entry in the log book.
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Remove the safety barriers.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(7) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
