Subtask 29-14-49-860-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
   (2) Make sure that the hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system:
  • On the ground service panel 197CB.
   (4) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on the access door 195BB to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir.
Subtask 29-14-49-941-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the engine 1 shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (2) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
  • Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
  • Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
  • Make sure that WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the ENG/MODE selector switch and the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
   (3) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the hydraulic system:
  • In the cockpit, on the HYD section of overhead panel 40VU.
   (4) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
  • Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the left fan-cowl door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

   (4) Make sure that the access panels 476AR and 476BR are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002).

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust-reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is deactivated (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012).

D. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Make sure that the thrust reverser is unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).
4. Procedure
Subtask 29-14-49-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Aft Reservoir Pressurization-Tube in the Pylon
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
   (4) Put the aft reservoir pressurization-tube (5) in position.
   (5) Apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the threads of the middle pressurization tube (8).
   (6) Connect the nuts (2) and (9) of the aft reservoir pressurization-tube (5).
   (7) TORQUE the nuts (2) and (9) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft ) T.
   (8) Attach the clamp (10) with the screw (7) and the washer (6) and tighten.
   (9) Attach the clamp (12) with the screw (4), the washer (3) and the new
AIPC 29-14-06-01-125 NUT (11).
   (10) Tighten the nut (11).
Subtask 29-14-49-420-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Middle Reservoir Pressurization-Tube in the Pylon
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
   (4) Apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the threads of the middle pressurization tube (9).
   (5) Put the middle reservoir pressurization-tube (9) in position.
   (6) Install the screws (4) and the washers (3).
   (7) Connect the aft reservoir pressurization-tube (1) with the nut (2).
   (8) Connect the reservoir pressurization hose (8) with the nut (7).
   (9) TORQUE the nuts (2) and (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft ) T.
   (10) Attach the clamps (10) with the screws (6) and the washers (5).
   (11) Tighten the screws (4) and (6).
Subtask 29-14-49-420-052-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Middle Reservoir Pressurization-Tube in the Pylon
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
   (4) Apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the threads of the middle pressurization tube (10).
   (5) Put the middle reservoir pressurization-tube (10) in position.
   (6) Install the screws (4) and the washers (3).
   (7) Connect the aft reservoir pressurization-tube (1) with the nut (2).
   (8) Connect the forward reservoir pressurization-tube (9) with the nut (8).
   (9) TORQUE the nuts (2) and (8) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft ) T.
   (10) Attach the clamps (11) with the screws (7) and the washers (6).
   (11) Attach the clamp (12) with the screw (14), the washer (13) and the spacer (5).
   (12) Tighten the screws (14) and (7).
Subtask 29-14-49-420-052-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Middle Reservoir Pressurization-Tube in the Pylon
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
   (4) Apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the threads of the middle pressurization tube (10).
   (5) Put the middle reservoir pressurization-tube (10) in position.
   (6) Install the screws (4) and the washers (3).
   (7) Connect the aft reservoir pressurization-tube (1) with the nut (2).
   (8) Connect the reservoir pressurization hose (9) with the nut (8).
   (9) TORQUE the nuts (2) and (8) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft ) T.
   (10) Attach the clamps (11) with the screws (7) and the washers (6).
   (11) Attach the clamp (12) with the screw (14), the washer (13) and the spacer (5).
   (12) Tighten the screws (4), (14) and (7).
Subtask 29-14-49-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Installation of the Forward Reservoir Pressurization-Tube in the Pylon
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
   (4) Put the forward reservoir pressurization-tube (3) in position.
   (5) Connect the reservoir pressurization hose (6) with the nut (7).
   (6) Apply Dry lubricant-General Assembly - - (Material No.03QBA1) to the threads of the middle pressurization tube (1).
   (7) Connect the forward reservoir pressurization-tube (3) to the middle reservoir pressurization-tube (1) with the nut (2).
   (8) Install the screws (5) and the washers (4).
   (9) TORQUE the nuts (2) and (7) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft ) T.
   (10) Tighten the screws (5).
